What happened to the game?
To preface this post: I've been playing DBD for about a year now, I played non-stop until about a month ago, and have amassed 1.5k hours into the game.
Now with that out of the way, why is the game all of the sudden so predictable? I don't know what it is about the game at the moment, but if I try to play survivor, I either loop a baby killer for 5 minutes and get facecamped, or I go play killer and go against a god squad/team of Epic players, and the occasional subtle hacker who has to pull out the blatant hacks when I start beating them. Now the problem isn't that these things are occurring, it's that they're ALL that occurs, every match I've played in the past few weeks without fail falls into one the categories I just mentioned. No more silly killers/survivors messing around, no more perk deviation, just the same crappy/meta perks on the same crappy/good teams. It's like there's no more 'normal' players who aren't exactly great at the game, but aren't bad either.
I don't care about balance either, I think the game is fine being extremely unbalanced, as long as there's a way to navigate the game without constantly feeling the power imbalance, but nothing prevents someone running a stealth Clown build from versing 4 man SWF's for every. single. match they play.

I will be completely done if the current meta carries over to the board game lol

How does the board game even work lmao, I'd be surprised if it was anything other than a glorified chutes n' ladders reskin.

We'll just have to wait and see, but as a board game connoisseur I'm excited for it

Maybe they'll take it literally and it will be a timed game where you have to escape before daylight or you die.

There's one thing that is certain about it though: I have to think of another excuse other than lag when I lose.
