Frame Skips
Since the latest, I've been getting frame skips that are really spoiling the fun of the game. After 5 seconds at the latest there is a frame skip, if not then several. Otherwise the game runs smoothly. Even reducing the quality doesn't help. I also get frame skips (sometimes lasting even longer than 2 seconds) when something "new" happens like activating a hex totem. It happens again every time I restart the game, that's what I mean by "new".
I use an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti, Intel i7 9750H CPU (2.6GHz) & 16GB Ram.
Fullscreen is activated & the drivers are up to date.
Does anyone else have this problem and how can I solve it?

On other platforms it's even worse. On Switch (my main platform) the game will flat out freeze for at least 5 seconds every round at some point without fail. Seriously, the optimization of this game is beyond horrific.

I've seen trials from around 2016, when the graphics were really low but extremly vibey. How did they fudge it up so badly that the vibe is gone in addition to my frames?! Anyway. What can i do about the frame skips?
