Do you think we will ever see cross progression? (XB -> PC)
I'm sad that I just got a soupy PC tower and I will probably not get to play Dead By Daylight with the money I have put into the game with quality, and without buying a next gen console. Seems like each day passes and the game gets collectively worse on xbox one systems even when I'm using ethernet on 1GB of fiber optic. It just seems so bunk on older consoles now no matter how you chalk it up.

I sincerely doubt it
It's not impossible but if it hasn't happened by now, I can't imagine it'll ever happen

will probably never happen until they get really desperate or something.

You want shared MMR between platforms? So your skill on keyboard-mouse are translated to consoles?

They act like the plattforms dont allow it but coulsnt they just make a ,,BHVR Account" and make the account etc save there so you could use it everywhere..?

you can play with controller on PC, so it's not too bad.
It's mainly the grind that is annoying to do again.
I only know how bad it is with Nintendo. They are SUPER strict with updates and everything that uses any API with access to another platform. That's why they can't hotfix things on the fly, as they need the approval to roll out any update. To be fair, my knowledge is from a couple years ago, but seeing Nintendo and how they progress, it wouldn't surprise me if they are still like this.
Imagine they fix something on PC but Consoles can't use it. That's why the option to disable something (even if not perfect) is awesome. Small things like that show they can do great things. ^^ I would love to know what the exact reasons are, but i'm not too deep into development with consoles.

Imagine thinking controlle or m&k player are more or less skilled in a game like DBD
0 -
It's much different than you think, unless you play on survivor.
0 -
No its not.
I played on both but mainly on controller and i main nurse with it and do absolutly fine.

Imagine not seeing how the different strengths and weaknesses of both controls, along with the different platforms can affect survivors and each killer skills differently.
But have fun playing Nurse on a pad on console if you play her decently on M&K. (Among other things.)

i doubt a lot, they could have done it ages ago, just letting you log in using your profile code (on game settings) that have all your dlcs linked at. Some people just want to belive the lie that is always told "we cant do cross-progession because your data is hidden under x company, that dont let us access your profile, buy the dlcs and start playing again ".
They could do it but its not profitable

probably ill get banned or jailed for telling you that

I am maining nurse on controller and its easy peasy.

Good for you. It's not the case for everybody and I don't believe one can play Nurse at the same level with a pad than with a keyboard and mouse.
Actually I'd have to check with Superalf in one of his streams, he started on a gamepad and is now playing on keyboard/mouse. I know I couldn't do it even half as well. (Nurse is my main killer on PC)
The issue here isn't about one individual but the vast majority of potatoes playing this game. ^_^
edit: revised my statement.

No, I don't think so.
Microsoft seems pretty chill on letting games be cross-platform.

The problem is just that MOST people are used to only ONE control scheme, THATS why its harder for them.
,,Controller bad" is only a excuse most people use to be worse then PC players.

I don't know what excuses people make for themselves.
In my opinion, gamepads are superior tools for survivors. They may even be adequate for some killers (On console I mostly play survivor so I can only guess).
Consoles also give a couple more technical advantages that I'll not explain here .
However, I've never heard of anybody being able to aim as fast on a gamepad than with a mouse. And if you know how these devices provide input to the computer, it's pretty clear.
The point is : in my opinion most players display different strengths on different platform. Even if you, among others, are an exception, everybody else isn't.

Any Killer that requires precise control is inferior on console.
It's simply a fact. You can't flick nor turn as fast as you can on PC.

The max sensitivity you are given on console is high enough. In a game like DBD you never need more than that.

No, it isn't.

Unlikely to happen, and if it does imo it'll be near the end of the game's life, so Microsoft and Sony know they won't lose much $$.
