Teabagging at gate
Teabagging at the gate should be punished by not beeing able to leave the trial. This would remove a lot of toxisity in this game

Tbagging at gate is no different then being hit on hook.
Neither change the outcome nor are a big deal.

What will come next: Leaving the trial is toxic, preventing survivors from leaving when they leave will remove a lot of toxicity

There's a 2 minute timer that forces them out. Go break some pallets if you don't want to see that.

I've noticed a lot less larking about at the exit gates lately, on both sides.

Really? It’s rare I have a match where the survivors don’t stand around the full end game collapse in the gates while I’m looking for pallets to break.

Listen man it does suck but it’s not a bannable offense nor should it be.

don't go near the exit gates.

Yeah, been getting 0k and 1k amongst the odd 4k and all survivors just seem to leave when they've had a long game against me. I have stopped going to the gate tbf. 1 hit down killers are still a threat in the gates which may also contribute.

Just force them out? I'd only ever do this if a Killer has been attempting to tunnel me for the majority of the game, but many survivor players just do it every game.

Is hitting on hook to make the survivor shut up a valid reason to hit?

Or on the flip side, go there and kick them out, lol

Not true. You don't die on the hook any faster when the killer is no chiller and hits you repeatedly; it ain't pretty and is usually a show of bad character, but you could suicide on hook if you chose so, even though most people would hang in there as long as possible in order to spite that spiteful killer.
But waiting at the exit gates for the sole reason that you can do one glorious t-bagging to rub it in that you won, just in case the killer failed to realize it, just wastes massive amounts of everyone's time.
Now that I also play survivors regularly I see so many survivors, mostly with flashlights, that rapid-fire clickety click in the sky outside the exit gate and, of the killer doesn't show up, even run out and go looking for them... But never too far out, because its not about bravely, its all about being a douche.
I know that some players wait to see if someone gets caught by the killer, in order to go for a late save, which is valid, but once all four are save its just childish behavior.
Well, I counter it by being a bit childish myself, ie I walk close enough that they can probably hear their heartbeat and just afk and watch some YouTube on my second screen. Its insaaaaane how many survivors stubbornly insist on their stupid, little victory dance and will wait till the last second.

It's fun when it goes poorly for them. Had a Claudette tbagging and clicking at the gate in one of the last matches I did. I hit her from the side and she fell far enough away from the exit that I could pick her up and take her to a hook. Shame.
I don't really know what you can do to solve the issue, really. Tbagging can have some legitimate tactic during a match. It doesn't at the gate, but if you did something that forced the survivors to leave after too much time in the gate, then you'd be taking away survivors ability to wait at the gate not to taunt, but if other teammates are still out trying to get to the gate, and the survivor wants to not leave until they're sure their teammate is going to make it out.
It would help if tbagging wasn't borderline encouraged.

I still want a perk called "Just leave" that will block the exit gates for you personally if you T-bag within the exit area 4/3/2 times. This perk would wriggle its way into nearly each of my builds.

The BM’ing can’t hurt you unless you let it.
If you don’t want to wait out the egc then just chase em out and move on.
Personally I use the time to break pallets, spam my power milk the last few points I can and just ignore the the gates.
I don’t get it either but it’s nothing to get frustrated about. Someone’s mashing buttons on their gear and I’m meant to feel bad good luck with that. Who cares just queue up for the next game.
To all the people saying they only do it if the killer camps and tunnels it’s just so silly. A bad sport is a bad sport no matter how you wanna dress it up.
The 2min egc definitely beats the 20 min hatch stand-off pre egc.

You forgot that sometimes they'll even toss a pallet that's really close to the exit and then rapidly vault it over and over in an attempt to force the killer to come over to get the notifications to stop. I feel like there should just be some sort of mechanic to block rapid vaults like that. I can't think of any actual situation where you'd need to vault the same pallet like 10 times in five seconds.

Sure.
But you don't need a reason. It's a game, if you want to be a ruthless killer, so be it.

I agree it's about being a bit of a douche, but it's just a game. Doesn't change the outcome.
And if your point is about time wasted, well you can chase the survivors out.

I dont mean this in a derogatory way but it still seems to convey the point the best and thats: Toughen up buttercup. Let them tbag all they want just go do something else in the last few minutes. If they ban everything then people will start to be afraid of playing period.
