Why do people try to bodyblock against Onryo?
Like seriously? You know it's useless since she can just walk through survivors. So why do people try it? It does nothing. I have yet to see a bodyblock actually succeed against Onryo and I doubt I ever will.

It's possible people don't realize she can move through survivors.

Old habits die hard, I suppose.

Because she is a new killer and a lot of people don't know that the body block is useless.

What else are they supposed to do in those cases, just step aside and let you continue your tunnel?
At the very least they may help to confuse. She still has to shift manifestation.

wait what she can?

She’s still really new.
People will figure it out, a lot won’t and will just whine but good players will figure it out.

Sadly onryo can through people but cant't pass pallet and wall.
Spite she is ghost.

She's new enough that some survivors don't know how she can counter bodyblocking.

This. Give it time and people will figure it out.

I can't believe it because of pig statistics.

I feel like Rancor makes for a pretty nice perk for her. Aside from the fact that you'll be spending a lot of your time in stealth so it isn't easily known by the obsession their teammates can't do anything to bodyblock at the end game making it that much easier to catch them out.

I've only mained Onryo the past week and will say that bodyblocking can still be effective.
- It can put Onryo on the wrong set of tracks if the target breaks line of sight with Iron Will.
- It forces Onryo to Demanifest:
- Making it easier for the target to vault windows without the worry of getting hit.
- Making it easier for the target to loop a pallet because Onryo can still get stunned in the back by the bodyblocker.
I wish that she could carry survivors while demanifested to stop the more obnoxious bodyblocks.
