Those perks are easy to counter. The secret is you just follow the survivor for a couple extra seconds. It is not a big deal because it's immediately obvious if they have it
Dead hard? Obnoxious to the extreme. The first time you go to down someone you have to hug their ass to bait it out. Then if you try to bait for too long, they dead hard to a window or pallet. If you don't do it long enough they iframe your hit. It's game-losing a lot of the time. And God help you if you forget which identical bunny Feng has it and which does not, cuz if you make a mistake you're losing two gens.

Second one is there to combine with Jolt, PGTW and Eruption/Brine.
The potential to do 48% regression on a nearby gen is just priceless.

Dang, seems you never made a point in the first place. The only thing you did was make a rude response that establishes nothing. It's most likely just gonna be taken as toxic survivor speak to avoid an issue.
Maybe if you'd said something along the lines of "both sides have this issue" or something, you'd have made a point. Having it rough lately? You seem on edge.

While Dead Hard is annoying, people really need to stop discounting that using Dead Hard effectively does take skill. At least before SBMM, i would certainly see bad dead hards into walls or ones that misjudged the distance and messed up their vault getting them hit anyways.

No. 15% from the scourge hook, then another 25% if you go kick it with Pop it as well (assuming they started to undo the regression from Pain Resonance).

You are sadly mistaken, although I wish you were correct. Hits are handled on the killers end, that tells you everything you need to know. This didn't change with the implementation of dedicated servers, or even hit validation.

Don't forget about CoH that removed several minutes from the killer hourglass in a match. Its incredible that this devs didn't do anything significant to balance this yet.

No - If you are able to hit the same gen with PGTW, that's where the 40% value comes from.....If not, you have to 'split' the remaining 25% to a different gen.
Either way, every Scourge Hook pockets -40% in some form when they are run in tandem.

Dead Hard is used to much. The usage alone shows its OP and is not fair that's why it's used so much to gain an advantage. Anyone who disagrees at this point are just people who use DH in all their builds.

That alone, It being popular isn't enough to justify a change.
I still think DH for distance leads to a degenerate gameplay loop of lose-lose situations for the killer. They realized and changed deathslinger and spirit because of lose-lose senarios, so why stop there.

Me personally I don't like wasting seconds on kicking gens, I'd probably run surge on top of that instead with Call of Brine. Maybe Tinker if I was really try harding on the gen regresison.

That is what I said....3 times. Also since apparently this needs said. A avatar/gamer pic does not mean they only play killer or only play survivor. Some of us play both sides and just like a character. I have over 2000 hrs just on killer before you hang some survivor entitlement on me while showing your killer entitlement in the process.
This thread is just perk shaming one side meanwhile the other side does the same #########...look 4th time I have said that this thread. Get a grip dude.

Dude, in high ranks Dead Hard is used to get distance to a loop safe or a pallet and what can the killer do? just accept that survivor made it to a god loop or a jungle gym. And the more experienced survivors wait until the killer hit animation starts to be able to use Dead hard. Bait works, but not at high ranks.

If one exhaustion perk is being used way more than any other exhaustion perk, there is a balance issue.
I could say the same about the 5-7 meta perks in the SEA of about 100+ perks but that's a whole other discussion.

Not saying Dead Hard has a balance issue.
However, I will say your statement isn't true. There are reasons why 1 exhaustion perk is being used more than other exhaustion perks. Let me give you a couple of examples why.
- Advertisement - If everyone is saying one exhaustion perk is better than another all the time, then that will cause 1 exhaustion perk to be used more than another. Take for example Coke and Pepsi. When blind taste tests are done with the 2 sodas, Pepsi always wins. However, when you show everyone the labels, Coke always wins. Same thing with Dead Hard, everyone says its better, so most people are going to choose the perk everyone says is better.
- Self-Care - The most used survivor perk in the game. If your statement was true, it would also mean Self-Care has a balance issue.
I'm just saying that this statement is a very bad reason to justify nerfs.
