Devs, this really shouldn't be a thing
While I appreciate finding a totem first thing, especially on this map, I'm sure the killer didn't really appreciate her hex being booned before her first chase. Not that it mattered she 4k'd but that's not the point.
On a separate note, if you boon 1 haunted ground does the other go away?

they won't do ######### about it, we give them exemple after exemple after exemple and it never changes

Agreed.
Also, yes, if you Boon Haunted, it activates the perk ergo it uses up Haunted.

That is a bad spot.

holy ######### that is an absurd totem spawn
just another reason to hate rpd i guess

Yeah.. I don't think the Devs have any idea on what to do with Totems at this point. They seem scuffed to all hell. They spawn in the most open of areas, blessed totems only get snuffed and not destroyed even though the killer is stomping on a literal pile of bones, and when a hex is blessed you don't even get a notification that your hex is gone.
I get it, hexes are meant to be high risk - high reward, but the RNG of totems shouldn't allow things like this:
At least undying made it so Ruin lasted a minute longer-

The devs only play survivor. They want to go home and start booning a totem 2 seconds after a match starts too.

There's a reason I never see hexes in my games anymore when I play survivor.

They should really move those hill totems further down like they are on macmillan so at least it's not visible from all angles.
But yeah. Pretty much everything having to do with totems is not in a great spot.

Pretty pointless hex's most of the time. I only play them when I'm so utterly bored of using the same old perks that can't be removed in 3 minutes.
I barely play survivor mostly because of the queue times.
Not enough killers play. I wonder why?

There's a reason I basically never use hexes anymore aside from Plaything.
2 -
That was the best thing about old undying. You didn't need Lethal to see the auras of survivors destroying your totem as you frantically tried to cross the map.

I thought I had some bad hex totem spawns in the past (like 5 feet away from a gen in plain view), but that is truly horrendous to have it next to survivor in the loading screen

We are constantly updating and improving Totem spawns to make them better hidden, paritcularly on newer maps, or those that have been recently reworked, btw.

On a tangent, what is up with the colors in the original post?! Was the game playing on LSD?

so ridiculous, survivors shouldn’t ever be spawning on hex totems.

It was a still frame from my xbox that I had to take a picture of with my cell phone to upload here. Though come to think of it, LSD might make the killer experience more enjoyable.

Who needs detective's hunch when RNG is screwing your totems already.

Remove hex at this point, making it work is pretty much not possible

Nice build btw, UNIQUE.

Devs got tired of Killers asking for hex totems to be hidden in the Killer's back pocket...
so they started spawning hex totems in the Survivor's back pocket

Thanks <3
Wut-
I- I don't see what I said that called for that response, but eh, I'll humor it.
On the parts I'm assuming you're talking about in regards to my comment:
I think RNG shouldn't allow for a situation in which a perk can be nullified before it's used. You would most likely complain if a killer could take four seconds to stop your ability to use any exhaustion perk you have equipped at the start of the match, correct?
I believe totems should be destroyed upon a boon being snuffed by the killer. They are stepping on a pile of bones, it would make sense. This also gives a slight buff to pentimento, as well as that, makes survivors have to use their brain as to when and where they should place a boon. At the moment, it comes down to one or two placing it, and the killer being in a predicament where they can't commit because the chase will go too long, and they can't leave because all that effort would have been for nothing. If they snuff the totem, then it will simply get relit while you're busy.
As for a notification in response to a hex being blessed. I mean as in a noise being heard that isn't just the standard boon being placed. Maybe a mix of both or something to give the killer and audio clue that their perk is gone. Especially if it's something like Devour which isn't lit up for a portion of the match.
For your idea, I believe that is already existing in a way with shadowstep. But if it didn't, I think it would be an interesting perk to have, but impossible for the developers to implement. It would most likely be a bit overtuned at first, but maybe if the killer is able to destroy the totem that would balance it out pretty nicely.

Just ignore people like this.
They always try to find reasons to make you look as a bad guy to ignore the obvious problems.

Agreed. A lot of totem locations are ridiculous.
