Why is a win in a game less important?
Tell me a logical reason why a win in a video game is less important than a win in a real football game for example.
Its BOTH just a game, so why is the one more important then the other?
I am sick of these ,,Its just a game" comments.

Real football involves real money, think about the gambling, many betting which team will win, and win or lose can have meaning on people life.
While dbd is just a game, In my eyes a very good and fun PARTY game. Thats to say you are playing for fun, there are no stats, no ranks(which other people can see etc) so its a very casual xp, of course winning or losing doesnt matter that much

There's unpaid sports playing and paid video game playing as well.

It depends on you. Depends on how much you care.
For someone fun is important, for someone win.

It's more mainstream and is something that the old people understand, so it's validated and promoted as part of everyday life. Since video games still aren't mainstream enough and isn't fully understood by everyone, you're belittled and called childlike for showing any amount of serious investment in what you're playing. These people are trying to use that archaic mindset to get that cheap shot in, hoping that you'll cave to society's expectations, and admit them the winner of the argument.

That's why i said "It depends on you". Someone does not care they won or not, they are trying have fun. And someone trying win and win is fun for them.
So actually there is not only one true answer for your question.

Lol I kinda get it and I support OP for it, "THIS GAME IS PAY TO WIN", is how i see the competitive scene in this game.

Because when I’m playing a video game, I’m just playing a video game.
As for the professional scene, the economy around the majority of sports is larger and more developed, as are the career paths, and of course the consumer demand is greater.
