Just bought the twins and I have a lot of questions
The twins are fun to play but it all seems very clunky. Like, the times at which I can and cannot swap between viktor and charlotte are a total mystery. are there timers? what are the numbers on them? are there position restrictions for swapping? Like am I not allowed to unbind viktor if charlotte is near terrain, or near a generator or something? I shouldn't have to have a ph.d. to swap efficiently. Why aren't these things in their power description? Can anyone help me play the twins a little bit more smoothly? It just feels bad to walk back and forth, hoping that the swap key reappears and just not know if I'm doing something wrong.
Edit: ALSO, I have experienced a lot of survivors rage quitting mere minutes into the game, right after being hit by victor. Are the twins seriously that hated that people would rather face the timer than play against them? I'm not even a great twins, I literally just bought them!

Yep, it’s a five second timer after any pounce with Victor - successful or not. Huge nerf they received after release. You cannot swap between Charlotte and Victor, or unbind Victor, too close to a hooked survivor; but I don’t know the number on that distance.
It’s not just in your head, they are very clunky compared to release.

I'm pretty sure the wiki has all the number.
As to why they aren't in the Power description, you want to read a whole novel to understand a single Killer Power? If they were to add numbers and stats for every single thing a Killer Power does, the description would be huge

I knew there was something weird going on with hooks. I just wish these restrictions were visible on screen

Questions like "why did I buy The Twins"? I get that.

Yeah it's a shame. Statistically they're strong and with enough practise you can do consistantly well with them, but the reason they're by -far- the least played killer is just because they feel incredibly slow and clunky. I still enjoy playing them a lot but I wish they'd make them more streamlined, even if they had to nerf some other things to do it.
And yeah you can't switch if you're close to the hook, you can't switch right after a pounce, you can't switch too close to an exit gate. I understand some of these things are to prevent bodyblocking abuse buuuut you can still do some unfair things with the two of them.

Yeah, a more clear notification would go a long way. You kinda just have to pay attention to when the swap/unbind button becomes available while walking away. It's also why I made a forum post asking it to not effect the Twins (and other killers) when survivors are hooked on death hook - since there's obviously no camping going to be happening in that scenario.
Another SMH moment when DbD mobile has more QoL features than the base game. It has a very clear indication on the swap/unbind Victor button when you are free to use it far enough away from a hook.

Learned something new today! Wasn't even aware the option was restricted near exit gates or hatch!

I used to Main twins
But now they are just torture to play. Bhvr nerfs them every single update it feels like.

I feel sorry for you.....the Twins had one of the most interesting powers imo in the game, but why BHVR hated them so much that they gutted them just boggles me.....I mean they are a original character and they don't have any cosmetics.....

Didn't know the hatch thing, guess it's to stop you leaving Charlotte on top of the open Hatch while hunting as Victor.

Twins are still the most ambitious Killer with the best power design in the game released yet. (imo).
Problem is the god-awful launch, massive bugs and ridiculous limitations they have put on them and their powers.
Add ons are also a joke. Best add on is still the brown toy sword (which was recently nerfed).

Well I am a pyramid head main, so twins add ons seem almost good in comparison...

Fair enough lol. Least you can pick up a survivor within 20 seconds of downing them.
