What can be done about blatant lag spikers?

I see intentional lag spikers in this game fairly regularly in this game. I just had a game in which lag occurred only 3 times and all involving one survivor

Scenario 1: The survivor disappeared in thin air directly in front of me when I found them near the star of the trial

Scenario 2: The survivor moved ahead when I swung at them after I found them healing themself

Scenario 3: Couldn't move for 2 seconds while carrying the survivor.

The number of problems this causes a killer is just heartbreaking. Things like this why I main survivor.
