Anyone notice pallets have gone even worse?
me and my friends have been button bashing to get those pallets dropped, seems to have gone really bad as of lately.

I haven’t noticed a difference.

You mean like lag wise? the only really recent change was them balancing the amount of pallets in main buildings

they seem fine, do you mean you're not getting the prompt? Either the killer is body blocking or you're too far or inside the pallet area.

yeah seems extra laggy like it's registered the killer hit way before iv seen it, so its not letting me pull and a lot of the time I don't even get the fall animation and im just instantly on the ground...

I'm in the right position- it's just extra laggy but my ping is fine. and if I do get the pull the killer is hitting me through it. which was meant to be fixed?

Pallets and hit boxes are definitely worse

YES!!!
fs!
Thought I was doing sth wrong by playing the same way I’ve always played, and suddenly these pallets aren’t dropping!
The “drop pallet” prompt hasn’t been appearing as prominently as it used to, especially when running through the pallet and turning to drop. It’s like the angle has to be perfect anymore just to get the prompt.
Also, it’s janky af that the boon heal, dying survivor pick up, trap disarm, pallet drop, and mend are all activated using the same button on console; given that these situations sometimes overlap. Had so many instances where CoH was activated & survivors are healing when trying to unhook, then get downed in front of the hook.
Gets me all pissy trying to angle my survivor perfectly to get the prompt to appear for trap snap, or pick up a teammate w/o dropping the pallet😔

The hit validation on pallets? Defo f@cked. Pulling pallets down? Something that took me 500h to figure out, sprinting into the pallet makes it super jank and can only allow you to pull it down when it's fully behind you,so you'll have to stop in your tracks or walk for it to be reliable.

ty btw, finally someone mentioned this
these forums are predominantly killer, tho, so it’s understandable... but I’ve also noticed this from survivors while playing killer, especially when they DC after I down them at the pallet that didn’t drop.
sth weird definitely seems to be going on w pallets

Pallets feel worse to me playing killer also. I can be 3/4 of the way through a lunge attack, pretty much on the other side of the pallet and can visually see my weapon connect with the player and then I get pushed back with the pallet stun. The hit detection is just bad in general in DBD.

Are you on console?
It is ridiculously bad at the moment (even on next gen) with hit validation at vaults (talking both feet on the ground with a couple of steps) & mashing the drop pallet button. It's gone back to being mostly luck in getting a pallet stun.
Get to a pallet, mash the button and there's a delay where it either won't drop and you get hit a second later or it drops and you get hit from a lunge super far away. I go play killer & try to do the same thing, boom...stunned.
Nothing to do with connection, this stuff shouldn't be occurring with 30ms ping.

Pre drop them. Do not camp them. They removed the survivor sided hit validation mechanic.
