New Killer: The Spectre

Name: Yoskolo

Story: Yoskolo was one of two children, his brother Tulok was always at his side. The brothers were born on an island on the coast of Greenland and raised a nomadic life. Tulok was always the one everybody liked, a skilled hunter with a great personality whereas Yoskolo was shy and introverted focusing more on spirituality and his devotion. One day the two were out with a hunting party hunting some seals deep inland on Baffin Island while visiting a friendly tribe, a Snowstorm hit out of nowhere and the two were separated from the hunting party. Suddenly the brothers came face to face with a giant polar bear; as it charged Yoskolo knew he had to fight, his brother cried and then pushed him into the way of the bear, he pierced the bear but was struck and bitten. He called out for his brother but there was no reply as he lay he saw his brother flee into the distance and his heart sank then was filled with hatred. He chanted and cursed as he and the bear lay dying, a few hours later the party came to retrieve the body but there was nothing to be found just the stained bloody ice. The next day Tulok went missing.. they found his head a ways off from camp frozen in horror and tears.

Height: Average (1.74m/5'7")

Terror Radius: 32m. The heartbeat gets slower as he approaches in contrast with most killers.

Speed: 4.6m/s(115% survivor speed).

Weapon: The Spectre wields a broken spear head with a frozen grip and an icy skull in the other hand.

Power: The Spectre wields an icy skull and can chant with it to activate his power, emitting a frozen aura that affects anyone in his terror radius, progressing into 3 tiers. He can also shoot a icy wind from the skull which slows survivors down for 1 seconds and makes them scream as well as injure them if they are in tier 3. Using the area effect slows the Spectre down, using the directed effect does not.

Tier 1: Survivors whimper as though they were injured and breath louder, actions where they use their hands are 5% slower.(Repairing, Healing, Sabotaging, Totem Cleansing)

Tier 2: Survivors shiver and are noticeably loud all debuffs last 10% longer and skill checks are considerably harder.

Tier 3: Survivors who walk or stand still for more than 5 seconds are affected by the hindered status effect until they run for 2 seconds or stand near a fire, they also have all their actions 5% slower in addition to Tier 1 effects(vaulting, opening exit gates, unhooking). Staying in tier 3 for too long will down a survivor from the healthy state this is paused by running or standing near a fire barrel.

Survivors can remove the frozen debuff by interacting with a fire barrel for a set time depending on how frozen they are.(20 seconds at tier 3)

In addition the Spectre can also set up a fake totems which he can teleport to in addition to normal totems, they are identical in every way(can set 3 max). Totems can only be temporarily destroyed/cleansed, when they respawn the totem cannot be used as a hex or boon. Totems that are cleansed are revealed to the Spectre(including boons) and emit the frost aura when the Spectre activates his power.

Curiosity got the better of him and he delved deeper into the cave as he came across more bones a dark feeling came over him, he remembered his elders talk about respecting the dead and he quickly left.
