About Eyrie of crows.....
Ok before I start the bad reviews I would like to congratulate the developers and the arts team for making such an interesting and unique map, it is a fact that Eyrie of crows is one of the most beautiful maps in the game and I hope to see more interesting maps and unique in the future.
Now talking about the gameplay issue is something that I really can't give too much credit to because we know that this map tends to favor survivors due to some reasons that I'll talk about later and that the developers can take this as a consideration for map creation in the future.
Now I'm going to explain the reasons why this map is survivor sided.
1: STRONG MAIN BUILDING CONNECTED WITH OTHER STRUCTURES
I believe this is the strongest reason why this map is survivor sided, there are literally 4 structures connected with the main building, two at the front of the building and two at the back which could be a T-L WALL or a JUNGLE GYM or other structure which makes this map quite painful as experienced survivors can take advantage of it by taking a lot of the killer's time due to how close these structures are to each other.
If we stop to analyze, almost no other map has structures close to the main building, we can mention for example: ORMOND, BOTH SWAMPS, MOTHER'S DWELLING, TEMPLE OF PURGATION, CROTUS PREEN and others. None of these maps contain a T-L WALL or a JUNGLE GYM close to them, they may even have pallet loops but no structure nearby which makes things more balanced, but with Eyrie it's the opposite, it has several structures connected to the main building along with other pallet loops.
2: MANY SAFE PALLETS NEAR EACH OTHER
This is also a big problem that this map has, i believe that the center of this map is one of the safest areas in the whole game, correct me if i'm wrong but there wasn't supposed to be a minimum distance by which generators and pallets should be from each other, 16M or something? in the center of this map there are pallets almost talking to each other, you can throw one that already has another one in front of you or next to you waiting for you, m1 killers has no chance on this map.
3: HORRIBLE FOR HEXES...
STRONG FOR BOONS (CoH)
everyone knows hexes are a lost cause at this point but Eyrie has one of the worst totems spawns in the entire game for killers, almost all totems are quite visible but for boons (CoH) the story changes. Place a boon on top of the main building and your game is basically over, the killer can't waste time climbing to the top floor every time a boon is placed but we know how powerful a boon is in this location.
