Advice on how to play against Pig?

Let me start off by saying, I've been gone for a great while and am just now getting back into Dead By Daylight.

Pardon the rust, but I've faced 3 Pigs today who have all used the same tactic to kill which is crouch chasing a person with the helmet on their head so that the terror radius does not slow down the timer. Basically soft-tunneling you, I guess. They do this until you either stop and attempt to get the helmet off (only to be grabbed/downed) or just let your timer go down (resulting in your death).


Is there anything we can do to work around/counter this kill method? I'm sorry if this post seems really stupid, I just am literally having a major brain fart since I've been absent for so long.
