Dead Hard still not being changed is completely baffling.

No...every killer in the world thinks it's the distance part

I can't actually believe you think overcome is stronger than Dead Hard, that's a new low Sluzzy

Dead Hard is the only perk I can think of that allows a survivor to make a play against a face-camping killer. You have to take a hit, before you can rescue a hooked survivor. You have to have Borrowed Time and hope that survivor is able to body-block for you and take a hit, so they can run away. Then you have to have Dead Hard to attempt to make it to a loop. No other perk in the game allows for this.
I don't think you can nerf Dead Hard without also nerfing face-camping so that there is a counter to it.

I mean even against decent survivors mindbreaker does nothing but help them if they're using sprint burst.

Mindbreaker is a pretty overpowered perk. It severally handicaps exhaustion perks. You have to remember, if someone uses an exhaustion perk, they have to stay off a gen and walk to get it to recover or get hooked.

Unless you're a stealth killer, walking for 5 seconds as soon as you hear the terror radius isn't that hard especially when you have semi safe tiles around.

I really do believe any changes to the distance gained with DH will make it useless. The only viable solution I see is to take away its i-frames.
We already have a plethora of useless perks. We don’t want to add one more to the list.

So if DH nerfed, whats next?
I guess every survivor perks needs to be absolutely useless and killer mains to get 4k all the time.

Any survivor perk which has any use deemed to be overpowered by killer mains, boil over now utter trash and waste of perk slot. Survivor perks never allowed to be good, now they gutted Circle of Healing too

While not every time, I most certainly chainsaw right through DH and get the down as Bubba. If they drop pallet, I chop that too.

Then that perk will also get nerfed according to killer mains demands.

Killers have been complaining about Deadhard since it was introduced, and this thread is literally about how deadhard has not been nerfed.
So your statement is false.
People like to promote the idea that if killers complain the devs nerf stuff, yeah ok. This thread proves they don't so run along with that old cliche its not true

Killers complaining about every usable perks, thanks to them boil over nerfed, lucky break nerfed, parental guide nerfed, nothing can ever be useful for now to survivors. Now we will go back years and any good perks will be taken away from survivors

Killers press m1,to hit people

remember... they nerfed mori and keys with a year of delay... this alone should tell you everything that you need to know
0 -
dont forget that they are totally working on the bloodpoint grind
0 -
they are LOOKING into it... they aren't actively working to reduce it (not yet at least). know how they work they will delay this rework whenever they can cause part of their tactic is to addict people to their game thanks to this infinite grind
0 -
Thats why you can't just nerf the perk, it needs a rework. But if they want to make DH the intended use of it, it would be useless against good players because dodging hits is meant to be a gimmick and gimmicks aren't meant to be good all the time.

I mean... If I lost a game because dh for distance which is uncounterable kept adding more and more time.... wonder what would happen if those survivors didn't buy time because they pressed a button for distance.
Exhaustion as a whole should have never been added to the game cause it's basically a hand holding mechanic to where people don't have to actually get good and manage resources when they can just get distance to the strongest windows. But then it gets ridiculous on the good survivors where they can easily make a chase a minute long then add 30 seconds with a well times dh or 99'd sprint burst.

Why is it more powerful than Sprint Burst?
0 -
The devs are scared shitless of displeasing survivor mains since they are like 80% of the player base. And dead hard is survivor mains favourite second chance perk. So i don't think they're gonna change it all lol, no matter what they say.

A handholding mechanic? You have limited resources (very limited on multiple maps) and all killers are faster. If no exhaustion perks existed in the game there would be no game.
OH and lets not forget bloodlust that can go up 3 tiers- handheld much? And its not even a perk.
Nerf killers all to huntress speed or same as a survivor and then get rid of exhaustion and bloodlust.
Otherwise use your brain and realise maybe an exhaustion perk which can be used max every 40 seconds isnt a bad trade off for the fact that killers are as basekit faster and have bloodlust as an in game mechanic.
There plenty of problems with the game- the majority being the maps and their RNG- we all know there are very survivor and very killer sided maps which we all sigh when we see loading in as either side- this shouldnt happen!

Idk I have friends that EXCLUSIVELY don't run exhaustion except for head on and they 3-4 man escape fairly often even against killers that have a brain without full meta. So saying "there would be no game" is completely false.
Also about limited resources.... other than shelter woods and indoor maps, most maps either have tile into tile or just a busted main building. Survivors can literally control killers blood lust but killers have very little to control exhaustion. "Well just run mindbreaker or blood echo" yeah not like people heal in 10 seconds as soon as you leave them most of the time or walk for 5 seconds near a safe tile when they hear your terror radius.
Also funny how you say use your brain yet to fail to realize 4 survivors running exhaustion can easily buy MINUTES to a game overall. Literally anyone with an ounce of game balancing knowledge would know that isn't healthy in the slightest.

It really does need to be looked at.
By adding a debuff (such as Broken and needing to be restored to Healthy before it can be sued again) to the perk to make using it a last ditch effort in chases and also lower its frequency of use.
I truly am with you in confusion as to why this has not been given a pass from the dev team. They tend to be highly secretive and insular with their designs - but I hope that they can announce plans to address it soon.
