The reason pinhead has the highest kill rate
I think it’s due to the cube. Survivors are always trying to get it and you are always guaranteed a chase through our the match, creating artificial chases because you are teleporting to the cube also In turn creating a consistent pressure through out the match. And also free slowdown since survivors have a 2nd objective.

It's because he absolutely obliterates new Survivors, just like Pig.

Imagine how sick a Hellraiser map would have been like the labyrinth

i feel like more people on average lose the will to even try against pinhead.

In solo q he can be a nightmare. Coordinating getting the box is a massive thing.

I think it's because of him being the killer who got the most time with MMR.

Pinhead adds an additional objective to the match that separates solos and SWFs even further apart than normal. For solos, the box can be hard to coordinate and a lot of players don't know how to prevent chains from interrupting them solving it during a chain hunt which is a dumb mechanic.

Close.
You can watch Otz's streak - he really struggled. Good survivors have no issue with the cube, and will put you into positions where your teleport drops you into a hole or behind a wall.
Ding ding ding!
He's a noob stomper supreme. This completely throws off his kill rates (yes, much like Pig).

It's because people still haven't learned how his Power works. There's atleast 1 complaint per week saying that chains shouldn't hit them while solving the box and that the devs should fix this "bug"

second objective and requirement of coordination.
Both of those doesn't work in pub matches.

There's some killers in this game who just... I don't know. Survivors just fall apart against them and I don't quite understand why. Bad survivors, which there are a lot of them, I'm sure skew the kill rate a lot. But whatever coordination, learning the counterplay, or simply understanding how the killer's power works... none of that should be THAT complicated.
Pinhead specifically, you just don't greed til the last second to get his box. Go for it early and solve it. If he hits you with his possessed chains, just break them instantly on obstacles. And if you have the box on you while getting chased, which shouldn't happen if you practice a little caution, just last as long as you can like normal. If you can do those few things, he should be nowhere near difficult to beat.

Pinhead is awsome though

This would be unimaginably cool... I hope they revisit old killers and give them maps. The labyrinth for pinhead, or downtown seoul for trickster

The cube is so tedious I think, its basically another objective and you’re essentially playing 3 v 1 in solo q as most survivors leave it or dc as soon as they see cenobite.
As mentioned above I see a lot a streamers having trouble with him as well, so least I don’t feel half as bad when playing against him.
One of the worst things they haven’t fixed is when the chains trigger and you’re trying to complete the cube, it’s nearly impossible if you don’t know the pattern to the chains hitting.
For new players it must be hell hah

Yeah. Or survivors don't do the box at all and Pinhead gets free slowdown in chases and survivor objectives. So it's a win-win situation either way.

His low pick rate also contributes to his kill rate. They few people that main him, usually know what they´re doing.

I feel like this is one of those problems that could be solved by the HUD icon system the devs proposed a bit ago. That way, you can see which survivors aren't doing a gen or something and are therefore probably going to get the box.

I never lost to a Pinhead, and rarely see them, so I am baffled at the statistic they have the highest kill rate. I would even go as far as to suggest to give Pinhead more buffs.

I try not to. Itd be too amazing.

Pinhead main detected

We got that maze map. It's the RPD.. Oh wait...

I wish. I do love Pinhead, the Hellraiser movies are apart of my favorite horror movies, but the Killer is just too weak and easily countered. I mostly play Nurse right now.

He's not that bad, but requires literal pixel perfection. If you are hitting the chains at the exact right time (at the apex of loops) his anti-loop can actually get people at safe pallets pretty easily. But of course, that's with hitting the chains at the exact right time lol.
For the same effort and precision Nurse will just murder the entire team outright without them even having a chance. I actually found myself going back to Plaid Flannel after playing so much pinhead because I enjoy the indicator.
