Why Does Legion Still Lose His Power When Landing a Successful Basic Attack?
I'd just really like to know the official reasoning for this.

Yup, there's an add-on now that decreases the amount you lose on a basic attack, if I remember correctly.
Still couldn't tell you why though and honestly I don't think BHVR can either.

also why can't they see scratch marks and blood in frenzy? what is so op about that if their power gives them the most powerful tracking in the game anyway.

Will this make Legion the new S tier killer and beat Nurse?
For real yes it is weird and dumb but in the other hand, who cares? It doesnt effect or weaken Legion at all so why making such a big deal out of it?

I guess with the fact BHVR gave Feral Frenzy some lethality they didn't feel comfortable removing it.
Though I agree it's really outdated and pointless.

I'd like to say it's because they don't want you to M1 and then use your power to catch up but it isn't exactly a lethal power (kinda slightly is now though) and Blight exists. So I don't see a good reason for it to be this way anymore.

It's because the balance team has a narcissist on it who absolutely can't admit that he ever made a mistake when it comes to balancing. He is single handedly killing balance.

Maybe it's so you can't chain from basic attack to frenzy and block a window/pallet? But you still get a 3 second cooldown, so I'm not sure-
Maybe it's because they gave their power a semblance of lethality?
Then again, you don't see Nurse losing a blink charge for hitting a survivor.. Don't see Blight having that issue either.. Or Spirit.. Don't think any of the other killers lose a part of their power on M1 either- Like Artist.. Trickster.. Doctor.. Ghostface..
Yeah.. I don't think they have a reason for it other than being scared to change it-

My theory is that it's there so that Legion players are made to pay attention to when to use their power.
I've been sat here for a while trying to put it into words, but I believe it acts as a way to prevent the Legion from being given too much leeway with when they can use their power e.g. if a Legion decides to M1 someone and then sees 2 other survivors nearby, it could be argued that they should have used their power, and choosing not to do so should be final.

Cuz so many do that. I see it pretty often, it got already asked and discussed almost daily in the forums and twitter. Ppl seem to worry about this more then legion still beeing an M1 Killer which is just baffling to me honestly.

I assume it is to give you an incentive to use your power instead of injuring via basic attack. The reason they would choose for the incentive to be a punishment instead of a reward is beyond my human comprehension.

Because Old Legion PTSD
Despite being one of the most popular killers, gets tons of cosmetics, makes the company tons of money - Legion is still hated by many surviviors, and the devs sort of leave him in this "punished state" to keep them satiated.
The way Legion has been treated has been a disgrace, but Legion is a money maker and has massive fan basse which they cannot stop. So they threw us a buff, thanks Devs.
