Losing pips on a grade should not be a thing anymore.

Here are my reasons.

  1. they have no effect on the matches you get anymore
  2. you can't lose a grade once you reach that level
  3. All you get for the grades are blood points on the 13th of every month.
  4. for some players it can take a lot of work to get to the grades they have.
  5. you can play really well and then get games where a killer stomps you in less then 3 minutes and you lose pips for that.
  6. you can play really well in a game but if you didn't do the thing the game wants you to do by no fault of your own you lose pips.

Before anyone says "But then everyone will be able to get to irii 1". the answer to that is no. The only thing it effects is the amount of blood points you get and we can all use those.


The devs have said on more then one occasion that grades don't reflect skill, then stop treating them like they do.

    I wouldn't mind this. Grades are just for extra points on the 13th. This wouldn't affect anyone in a negative way but they really should stop showing grades at the end game screen. What's the point? Oh this guy is going to get 800k points on the 13th! Anyways....
