Need More Help From Veteran Billy Mains On PC (Rank 1)
Since my last post, I've decided that it's best for me to learn how to play Billy with q and e
I feel that my dpi setting of 3200 is just too high to play Billy solely using the mouse.
So my question to Billy mains is quite simple: How in the world do you guys steer the chainsaw with q and e?
More specifically, how do you:
- Hit survivors that 360?
- Body block and use q and e to steer
- Hit survivors around loops
Are these actions meant to be extremely difficult with q and e? Because right now I'm having a very difficult time controlling the chainsaw with q and e, aside from navigating the map which is easy.
If any of you guys can give me some tips and tricks to mastering q and e, I'd sure be grateful.
And also, this probably goes without saying, but please only respond if you have considerable experience with using q and e to steer the chainsaw.
Thanks.

I’ve played probably around 1000 hours on billy and I can say that you don’t need q and e to steer. I honestly just lowered my sensitivity. You should think of the hillbilly players that use q and e to steer as ‘hillbilly hipsters’. We don’t need them.
To hit survivors that are 360ing, all you really need to do is stay in one place with your chainsaw whilst they do their little dance around you. It makes it much easier for yourself, while they just look stupid spinning in circles.
Hitting a survivor around a loop is just practice. Some loops you’ll never hit survivors on no matter how good you are. Best to practice on the shorter loops first.0 -

The problem is I play Nurse on a high dpi.
And there's no way I can alternate between a high and low dpi.
Learning q and e will allow me to play Billy with a 3200 dpi.
If I could have it my way, I'd rather play Billy with just a mouse. But that doesn't seem possible right now.
