We Need Better Report System in Game
I am sorry for saying this but current report system is hot garbage. Useless.
Record video of cheats, report in game, submit a ticket, report them here again, upload video to YT and add link to report.
Seriously? Who has that much time lol?
We seriously need better report system and reporting in game should be enough. It should not be hard, when someone has so much reports. Just add them list and follow their moves for a while.

While it is true that there needs to be a better report system than what we have now, I'll be forever glad they didn't go through with that report system concept they revealed in the 5th Anniversary stream, where enough reports would just outright automatically ban someone because if they actually went through with that, every single DBD content creator would be banned by now lol.

You should not be sorry for it. BHVR should be sorry that their awful reporting system is the way it is. This would be embarassingly archaic 20 years ago.
I imagine most people don't even know how to properly report and then the ones that do (like myself) don't bother to because it takes so GD long and I'm not going to waste my free time policing a game BHVR should be policing

Actually it is not so bad idea. I mean don't ban people for their reports but add them list. And check their moves for a while. If they have susp moves, you can ban them. This should not be hard for company like BHVR.
I played couple games today for test mmr. And then i faced with cheater. I told survivors finish generators, so i can go to next game. But no sir, cheater wanted hold everyone in game. Survivors died to EGC and i dc'ed. Because game did not end after EGC. And ofcourse i punished by dc penalty.
I don't know how this game still has terrible anti-cheat and report system.

Since the hacker epidemic my ability to report has reached a system, like I got muscle memory for making reports now lol

I can't even get videos (playing on Switch, until cross progression happens so I can move to my ps5) so I just report hackers at the end of the game but I'm not sure if it actually does anything. My thinking is that if someone gets enough reports against them without video then they might get looked into but who knows.

Valve did that in CS:GO.
If you get "x" amount of reports you will get banned, its a horrible system and a lot of players quit CS for that reason. Reportbotting was or maybe still is a big problem in CS.

The devs already said that they can't add a replay feature.

Agree 100%!!! I confronted a full-blown cheater on PSN (teleporting, insta-down, etc.) I knew the in-game would do nothing so I messaged him after the game. Apparently, PSN takes reporting very seriously, and even though he was nasty in chat, I just happened to call him a "Loser" which PSN flagged and sent me a warning about. Imagine that... for one word. At least it wasn't a ban I guess.

They don't need replay system. Let me explain for you what i am thinking:
Add report bar, let's say 50 reports. If you get this bar, your account will go to list and system will follow your games and record your moves. If you have susp moves, you will be banned. If you have nothing susp, you are okey.

My number one complaint is the ticket submitting process. All reports should just automatically open a ticket regardless and if adding more information is necessary then the ticket is available at the main menu. Would make reporting on both pc and console less #########.
