Let’s not make nurse look easy
She’s not an easy killer to play and I feel like the survivor community is forgetting that she is DIFFICULT to master.
im on console so it was a lot harder to master while going against PC players.
she’s a high risk, high reward killer. It’s the reason why she’s the least played killer and is only seen in red ranks.
this is a question for the survivor community. Since she’s so OP that she needs to be deleted and heavy nerfed, why aren’t people trying to play her then?
Also. “She’s too hard” isn’t an excuse since that’s the whole point

- She’s the least played killer.
Did Twins, Plague, and Billy fall off the face of the Earth or something?

Red ranks don't exist anymore
Also she's def not the least played killer according to stats, that would be Twins iirc
She's got the lowest killrate in the game though, for whatever that's worth. Not conclusive but a neat bit of data

Because she literally makes me sick.
And she isn't just hard, you literally can't play her like a normal Killer. Even if you suck at Blight, you can still M1. You can't do that at all with Nurse.

Red ranks = Iridescent rank

Not really no.
You can find Nurse's at any Grade-level.

I’m talking good nurses. Like the ones the survivor community say there is. I have yet to see low rank nurses demolish

Play right after Reset.
2 -
Quite frankly, yes. Yes they did.

Rank isn't equal to grade level, that was the point of making them separate. It's confusing but we get bloodpoints every month so whatever. And honestly she was pretty easy to learn for me because I started with her, until I reached red ranks in the old system and went against survivors who knew what they were doing. That's when the dedication comes in.

Actually she's pretty high in regards to pickrate yet still remains the lowest on killrate. That just goes to show even more.
2 -
M1 with blight against tomatos maybe? XD

The game gets boring playing as and against Nurse, that's why she doesn't have a super high pick rate. The game was designed around playing with pallets, windows, walls, and loops but she just ignores all of those. If you can teleport through every object in the game how is that fun to play as or against? There's no challenge whatsoever. She's probably the worst designed killer in the game.
3 -
Everyone says that but doesn’t say how to rework it. She’s been here since day 1, so surely you have a rework in mind?

Yeah I have some ideas on how to make her better. My first thought is that maybe she could be like Plague or Oni where she has an OP power but has to build it up in some way like getting hits first or something. Just make her to the level of other high tier killers that have some sort of counter, drawback, or buildup to her power.

Sure nurse is hard to learn. But to me that is not an excuse for them to be that strong. I'm not sure what I would do to her to make her not as broken.
Because she is hard to balance, she is either going to be broken or weak.
A good nurse will never lose against the average survivor.
2 -
Yes, exactly. If they played her they would see how actually good survivors are doing against her. (But they would have to do something difficult so maybe it's easier to cry?)

She hasn't been here since day 1 and has been reworked several time already. The problem isn't on her side.
I've seen enough survivor juking me to know the difference between the ones who have DC hearing one blink and the ones who tried to learn something.
Survivors, plural. Ideally no survivor is supposed to win against any killer.
He can not run in a straight line in plain sight. Immersive play, breaking line of sight, being unpredictable, ... goes a long way (Iron Will, Dead Hard, Shadow Step). While the killer wastes time finding a survivor, gens can fly. I've lost against average survivors only because I can only be at one place and they pushed through gens. Even if a chase only lasts 30 seconds (and that would be against really weak survivors, the kind running into me looking behind them) I still have to hook him and find the others.

That last phrase "a good nurse will never lose against the average survivor" could be applied to literally anything. Of course a good player won´t lose against a average one.

You forget Oni, almost never seen

There are good Nurses but there aren't any "gods". "god" is just another term for "lucky this once". It's basically the same psychological mechanic involved in the survivorship bias (no pun intended). I've been called a "god Nurse" only because I was lucky in a prediction or two in a game. I can tell you I'm not. I'm not even sure I'm good (given how many times I get my ass whooped).
I'm pretty sure plenty of survivors are going against weak Nurses as many aren't too afraid.
Sometimes I'm matched with beginners (usually after a loss, thanks MMR, talk about adding insult to injury). When it happens I go soft, I make stupid mistakes, I hit a wall or a rock so they have have long chases and do gens. I'm not too fond of spanking newbies.
However, sometimes instead of doing their gens and hiding, there is one or two in the group starting to taunt the "stupid Nurse", clicking, tea-bagging, gesturing to come ... That clearly shows they've versed inexperienced Nurses and know there isn't anything to be afraid of. (And yes, these survivors have a very low life expectancy but that's beside the point.)

Least played killer now is Demo since we will never get any new demo players and ya twins is least played still i think

HUH! wiggle wiggle wiggle. hoooooo look up screach shhhhhhhhhhhhhh HUH! wiggle wiggle wiggle
What do you mean she is sickening? Her screen is perfectly stable and doesn't move around all the time. Also the sounds don't get annoying at all.
2 -
Yeah I agree, I guess I worded it wrong. I am still under the belief she is 2 strong.
Tho I'm afraid of them nerfing her cause it could make her 2 weak.
I just don't want any killer like her in the future because to me she holds back BHVR from making any extreme balance changing or strong killer perks.

The issue is, finding a really good nurse (god tier) is like winning the lottery. I see one maybe once per year. The rest of the time i face mediocre nurses. She has the lowest kill rate for a reason.
But there is a big number of survivors, that don´t want to play against a nurse. The moment they hear her screach, they disconnect or run to a hook and start pointing at it. So they don´t get to learn anything from playing against her. They don´t improve their playstyle. They don´t learn how to beat her. If survivor took even a fraction of the time, a nurse main spends on her, to just learn how to play against her. Then no one would complain about her.

Fair enough.

Depends how people define easy I guess
Is she easy to consistently 4k with? Yes, much more so than lets say, Myers or trapper.
Is she easy to pick up and learn. God no.
When people say she's easy, I assume they mean the former. They're not wrong, but neither are you.

This is exactly the problem. A Nurse player is playing Nurse every game. A survivor sees a Nurse maybe once every 50 games, and they see an actual good Nurse maybe once a month, if that.
It's blatantly false that there's "nothing you can do" against a good Nurse, but players genuinely believe that because they get no practice.
My win rate in public matches on Nurse is probably close to 90%, and in comp scrims that number drops to below 40%. My win rate in comp scrims is actually higher on Plague and other M1s. Players would be shocked at how manageable a solid Nurse can be if the survivors actually know how to play against one.
2 -
Yep, she´s pretty manageble. But most people are to scared to try to play against her.
1 -
I don't think anyone thinks Nurse is easy to play, specially not beginners.
As for the least played killer, no she is not. Twins, Billy, Hag and Plague probably are.

If you play her like 100 games you will be already an okayish nurse. She isnt that hard to learn to be honest. I think steering killers are harder to learn. As I started playing DbD i touched her once and though that i will never play her again. Then years later i played her for a month and was already strong enough to beat most casual redrank teams in the following season. I then dropped her cause its no fun breaking the games mechanics this easily.

It takes like two hours to be able to consistently land blinks.
