True fullscreen and other optimizations
this game doesnt actually run in fullscreen, just borderless. there was a fix but it seems that it stopped working 2 years ago according to some reddit threads. does anyone have a solution?

also, are there any other optimizations, like making steam run less processes in the background while you're playing dbd? there were so many with the same name but once i terminated them the game kicked me out of the next match after a few seconds.
i also tried setting dbd's priority on high from task manager but it wont let me change it.
at the very least, is there any way that i can further downgrade the graphics than the game allows? not from the game options of course. they're already on lowest. i disabled antialiasing and everything.
i've also tried setting the framerate cap to 30 from the ini file but it still goes up to 60 in game.

As for the priority! Here's a pro-tip: google how to change a process' default priority in windows via the registry,than apply that to DBD's executable. That's how I do it. If you want to cap the game at 30FPS,you could do that through NVIDIA's control panel If you have one of their cards,if you have an AMD/INTEL one I assume they would have similar features.
Also I'd just run this game in windowed anyway. Throw on lossless scaling (https://store.steampowered.com/app/993090/Lossless_Scaling/) with FSR and you can get pretty close to the original quality at a slightly lower tax to your GPU. (Do keep in mind that you should only ever have FSR upscale your resolution 1,1 or 1,3 times higher,ineffective otherwise)
Running the game in windowed can be done with -WINDOWED -resX=1920 -resY=1080 (change out resolutions as you wish)
