The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Does this happen to anyone else?
I would say in a solid 80-90% of my matches if I don't down both survivors that are remaining when one of them runs stealth mode (they don't unhook surviors, you never seen them all match so no hooks on them), they immediately find hatch in the first 5 seconds after it opens.
Does DBD have some kind of system in place that they reward people who say f their teammates I just want to escape? In 500-1000 killer matches, I think I have not had this happen maybe 3-4 times maximum. Otherwise the animation for the 3rd person dying on hook completes, and the survivor immediately jumps through hatch.
I do not have this happen often at all for people who are on their last hook where it becomes a chase of finding them and/or finding the hatch for a solid 15-120 seconds. Anyone else see this happen?

The pity hatch appears when one survivor is left in the game. Can't say I had it open before the animation fully completed though.

While it won't always work, don't leave the 3rd survivor slugged. Go ahead and hook them. It puts pressure on the 4th to either save the hooked survivor or start trying to find the hatch before you do. This will cause the survivor to wish to cover lots of ground quickly and will be easier to find due to the scratchmarks they'll leave behind.
(Also for the slugged person it's kind of boring.)

I just don't get the people who get mad you don't save them when it's like....2 survivors and 4 gens left. Going for the save is basically suicide at that point but people will be foaming at the mouth you didn't try and save them 2v1 against a basement bubba or something

I used to tab out and surf the net when I was the third person getting hooked at second state so the last person could get the hatch, but I get rescued so frequently I've come to the conclusion that since the killer is out looking for the 4th it's basically free Altruism emblem.
When I'm the last one left I still have the 'I don't care about surviving' mentality and will rescue and go down so the 3rd survivor can have a shot at the hatch, so they might be thinking the same way I do. Why do we do it?
I wouldn't put it on the same bar as 'being selfish' or anything, since letting the third hooked survive die so you can have a shot at the hatch is the logical thing to do, I think complete strangers controlling virtual avatars in hide 'n' seek murder game feel more emotionally attached to one another the longer the game goes on.
That first guy that gets sacrificed? Didn't know him, see ya later. Last two survivors? We're brothers of the trial, forged in the blood of the fallen.
You must live and I must die brother. It is the only way.
