Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

If DBD killers existed in real life lol.

Let's just imagine if dbd's "supernatural killers" existed in real life then how laughable they would be lol. They can be blinded by flashlights and crackers, stunned by a wooden pallet and a bloody locker (as you hear them moan painfully) 🤣 You can body block these killers (including the Nemesis) and prevent them from moving. You can heal your friend right in front of the killer's face and the killer can't pick them up lol (heal tech). This game really has the concept of "supernatural killers" all wrong lol. If supernatural killers did exist in real life, i would want them do be exactly like dbd's.

Killers used to be able to Mori you the moment they downed you and you actually had to hide from them. Those guys would have been pretty rough.

Nowdays it's more of a theme park but eh. Fast queue times. What're ya gonna do.

And yet they would continue to come after you. No matter how many times they're blinded, how many (heavy, trust me I've had to break those things with my feet, they are study and pretty damn heavy) pallets are dropped onto their face, how many times they're hit by doors or even a car, they will stay on your trail. They can fall from a 3 story fall without even a stagger, whereas you'd have to perform a pretty decent roll onto a semi soft surface to avoid breaking your legs.

Your only option is to hide. To give up your distance and to pray they can't find you.

They're supernatural in their abilities, yes, but just because their strength isn't through the roof doesn't mean their persistence isn't. With enough people, or enough ideas, most of the typical supernatural killers can be stopped. Not any of the DBD cast though, because they're backed by a haunting eldritch force. I'd much rather face a supernatural being that can be destroyed than something which will stay on my trail for the rest of eternity, no matter how much I throw it's way.

Which is why survivors can never kill a killer. They can escape the trial, but they will always be put back into the same hunting ground. They will always be followed for the remainder of their eternal torment, and there is nothing they can do except to keep running away.

I've never understood how a wooden pallet is supposed to even remotely phase something like Nemesis. I used to move them around at a warehouse. Even wet pallets aren't that heavy or have much weight in comparison. Just put your left arm up to block and power through the loop. XD

On real life you wouldn't be able to loop them forever because you would grow tired and slow down, and getting hit in the back with a rusty cleaver would hurt like hell, not something you can heal by having someone massage your back, so facing them would still be quite dangerous.

Not to mention some of them can walk faster than you can run, that would be weird, but scary.
