With the rework, Ghostface will basically be permanently undetectable in a chase. Assuming you get a good expose on them
Onryo is essentially undetectable in a chase as well, especially with certain add-ons. And it's still not really a good chase power whatsoever

A clocked wraith, crouching pig or a tier 1 Myers can chase you the whole game and not get bloodlust because of undetectable

Ghost Face breaks out of Stealth when he attacks or when someone else who is unmarked sees him even after the patch.
Onryo can be Stealthy at will but does have a lullaby which hampers it slightly. And she has to be out of stealth to attack. (The lullaby kind of hurts her stealth a bit.)

Yeah but if he is attacking, they are marked, so they are going down to it. Unless you get 360'd; it's not like you really miss many swings in this game. I doubt anyone in solo Q is going to be following you around revealing you during a chase either, only SWFs.
Onryo can also have Well Water which allows her to attack while undetectable still, assuming you time the manifest correctly.
Overall the new Ghostface will probably be about as close as it will get. His new addons should make him pretty spooky too, especially the one that gives you a speedup after marking someone.

- I see people in solo queue following Ghost Face pretty frequently. Also even if that weren’t true literally half of all matches have a 2- to 4- person swf, they’re very common. And even skilled players miss attacks sometimes because of jukes, maybe about once a match, and average players miss more than that.
- Yes, Onryo still has brief Undetectability briefly after Manifesting with that add-on, that’s true. Still has the lullaby though and of course that Undetectability runs out quickly.
- I’m definitely looking forward to trying out the new Ghostface, I like all the Stealth killers including him. 😄 (maybe with the exception of Spirit, I’m not really into the whole attacking by ear thing.)

it's still reducing his static blast range, so, you're getting less info from it (and less potential madness levels on survivors)
And also, what about my other examples? Why you completely ignored them?
upd. I can also make a screenshot, where i kill all 4 survivors without perks and addons, and get 4 iri. Will it prove, that "all killers were designed around playing without perks and addons"?

No actual proof that you didn't camp or tunnel but that's utterly irrelevant because nobody mentioned either.
Nor did anyone say that you can't 4k with that build.
The comment that started this debate was you saying " He starts in Tier 1 slow speed with no lunge because he has no terror radius. In this part of the game you should be racking up Save The Best For Last stacks. Once you hit 8 you move to tier 2 where you gain the speed and increased lunge."
That and getting value from unrelenting is what I'm questioning because unless you're against potatoes or they're afk that ain't happening. Even with scratched mirror and a good map I'd question the likelyhood as you'd want to take every hit and ignoring the obsession wouldn't go unnoticed.
Also you can call me out on being "meta" all you like. My own Myers build is spirit fury, enduring, Pain resonance, monitor and abuse with the dead rabbit add on to give me a tier 2 terror radius of only 4 metres. Last I checked only one of those perks was meta.

The basic concept of The Shape is that you are, by numbers, the most powerful M1 killer in the entire game.
But, you can't start out 1-shotting people, power vaulting, and extendo-arm lunging - you gotta work up to it.
105% and no-lunge is because you're really not supposed to be chasing anyone.
Your only job at Tier 1 is to sit back and stalk.
This is the one thing that sets the Shape apart.
He is an extremely powerful killer, but instead of starting there - he must give the survivors the first generator or two and surrender in chase. Only after losing a few gens and chases can he become a 'normal' killer. And only after letting players go and stalking them even more can you awaken the power mode of Tier 3.

I love me a bit of tombstone piece too. They didn't touch it when they gave him an add on pass recently. So who knows it might be left as it is.

I really think that each tier should have some purpose and strength and not just "oh I HAVE to leave this tier as fast as possible or I lose"
It would be nice if Myers was actually much much faster while in t1 with his undetectable but he still had no lunge

didn't i put the "4 iri" in my post? 🤔 (meaning 2 pip at the same time, and, probably, perfect/close to perfect game in BP). Damn, there might even be a situation, where someone playing perkless addonless and 30s afk and still getting 4K (and i'm sure, you can make it, so it will be 4 iri. Depends on survivors, that you get). Will it mean, that you can play effectively (and stable) with this rules?

Dying light and Play With Your food do compliment each other by leading you to let your obsession go offering increased movement speed for doing so and debuffs each time you hook those others you focus on. STBFL offers you a swing speed enhancement for that same choice.
I was talking about old Dying light, which was forcing you to kill the obsession first
Ok, more examples. Surge for Demogorgon. it works ONLY if you down someone with basic attack, not with his shred. The same with Bubba's franklin's demise and knock out
Kinda can talk about Legion. Discordance forces survivors to solo work on a gen, so, legion can't use his power effectively (although it can also be described as "says, where you can use your power effectively", so, "meh" argument). But okay, what about Iron Maiden? Legion can already see survivors in a locker with killer instinct. and he can't instadown them with Feral Frenzy
Can also think about Gearhead for deathslinger. He is 4.4 with 32TR, and he doesn't have any map mobility, so, he can't really utilize that aura reading with his power
Forced penance for Pyramid head. Doesn't get triggered by his ability (you can't "protection hit" it). Kinda counterproductive with deathbound (broken => can't get healed => can't proc deathbound)
