I love playing him but as I am walking over to survivors they see my outline and they're gone and sprint burst, balanced landing users and lithe users are the worst for it.0

Don't get me wrong I still generally get 3/4 kills everyone with him put I reckon they should make his cloak outline a little bit less visible.4

So dont walk straight towards them? Try going around jungle gyms and trees as cover. Or get positioned and sit still so when THEY leave you are in position. The visibility of the outline became an issue when killers like the spirit got the ability to completely remove their negative detection penalty (the whooshing noise) through addons. Bing Bong Boi has silent bell which is nice, but it doesnt negate his slowed movement speed and duration to uncloak, making him still suffer extensively in that regard comparatively. If you want to put him on even footing, he needs either better mitigation of these penalties, or addons that better remove it. That said, I love the silent bell + ghost addon meme combo, but It takes two addons to do what other killers can essentially get (better) in a single addon... and good lord does the wraith need addons at higher rank play.

have to agree that your biggest problem is your approach. Just because you're stealthed doesn't mean you don't need to think strategically. You should easily be able to come up on them from corners or behind trees.0 -
If he was invisible he'd be far too overpowered he's in a good spot right now I'd just leave him where he is.

being 100% invisible but still having the uncloak time and slowdown during it (before the speed burst) is still plenty balanced. he gets surprise slugs off of it, but thats about it. he cant use it in chases unless the survivors are stupid, but he wastes tons of times trying to use it in chases. the silent bell + ghost addon helps if you can stay out of LoS while you chase, but thats a huge pentalty while requiring an iridescent addon.
Now there are some addons that help with chases, but only WHILE hes cloaked. which means no attacking, no grabs, no bloodlust, no nothing. Even simple QoL changes like letting him get bloodlust while interrupting a chase with cloak, decreasing the slow during uncloaking, decreasing decloak time inherently, hes just short of the mark on all sixes.
I guess my biggest beef is that the spirit gets pretty much free gen grabs with a single rare addon in rank 1 games while the killer who is literally built around stealth has a predator telltale shimmer seems kinda messed up.

But why then if you already absoluty win most if the time? There are ways to hide yourself while cloaking. you can be really good with a bad character and be able to give advice on how they are lacklustre vs the rest of the cast. Just look at fighting games.

IMO, there should have been an addon for it.
But simply making him fully invisible does not make him any easier to play at ranks where he suffers, nor does it make him any more fun to play against...

TBH the only way i have success at high ranks is by baiting that exact mentality and one slug ignoring people and forcing them to waste time. its a really bad strategy to have tho because they catch on quickly.

If you use Whispers and it lights up while patrolling and a gen is in front of you, adjust your approach accordingly.

Games not designed to easily get all four kills in every single match. A buff like that just isn't needed. Wraith for a long time was a joke of a killer. Maybe a buff like that would've been justified. But at the current state I feel like he's a very strong killer. And he deserves it. Wraith was pretty much unplayable at one point.

You have 0 terror radius and a predator cloaking field. If that isn't a stealth killer then I don't know what is.

The wraith's ability suffers the most during chases because a survivor can go to a pallet and the wraith has to stand there, uncloak and lose the speed boost from uncloaking as well.
If the wraith gets a buff it should be in the form of transition between cloak and uncloak and/or vice versa.

The Wraith has got it share on the buffs and reworks. I don't think there's any more reason to complain and ask for more buffs. I'd rather suggest, hope and wait for Freddy and Leatherface rework.0

You're not supposed to go out in the open with the Wraith, always hug walls and use cover while approaching survivors.

Oh? Do you want to lose the ability to see survivors for true invisibility? The Spirit pays a pretty steep price for her ability. You can't just conveniently ignore that fact.
