Explain what the veins on the prestige weapons mean (remove them pls)

Can someone explain to me what the veins on the prestige weapons mean? They just look terrible and have little to do with realism for me. I therefore ask you to finally remove these veins from the prestige weapons. That would make them look much more realistic. I'll be honest, it bothers me extremely. Now you might say, if it bothers you so much, why do you use the P3 weapon? It's simple: I like it bloody and realistic.

So you want the devs to change the cosmetics, for 'realism' and for you, specifically?

The veins make some of them redemable, twins or freddys weapon without veins would be utterly meaningless, now there is a case on some killers like artist but nemesis for example is sick af.

Demo's and Sadako's P3 weapons look amazing as well

I dislike the veins so much and never use prestige weapons because of it. I just want blood. I love blood. The veins are unappealing.

Artist's ink being replaced by blood was a missed opportunity.

- Visual reasons, its really hard to see blood on alot of the weapons due to how dark the maps are (artists claw has no blood on it)
- "Realistic" is not something you should use when talking about DBD, if this game was realistic then like 50% of the killers wouldn't sacrifice survivors
- As someone else in the thread pointed out, could resemble the bloodweb

I'm not a fan of the veins, visually speaking, but I like how they make the weapon kinda alive. Many weapons are already bloody, so without the veins the prestige version wouldn't be much different.

I feel like perstige could have 2 weapon variants unlocked:
One with the blood+ blood veins. One with just blood.
That or to kill 2 birds with one stone: Give each clothing slot an accessory slot which would let you choose to add the accessory to a compatable item.
Aka base weapons/blood weapons for prestige veins. Meanwhile things like the anniversary halos could go with every head piece.

Gosh, I'd really love it if the anniversary halos were their own separate cosmetic piece instead of attached to the default head. I might actually wear them if I could put them on any head.

Just to clarify. I am only referring to the realistic look of the P3 weapons. I like it bloody, but not with veins
