DBD is wild tonight

Man I dont know whats in the water tonight but I have had both sides go nuts. All I'm doing is completing old challenges(the annoying ones I skipped such as kill your obsession x amount of times, etc.) and both in the same night I had someone find my twitter and spam f slurs and told me to unalive myself because I was saboing hooks for a challenge(used the yellow glove add-on so killer didnt get notified) then was called homophobic because I had to tunnel my obsession out to finally finish this one annoying challenge.(for context I am a gay man hence the f slur from before) I dont know why but especially at night DBD seems to bring out the worst in a lot of people. It doesnt bug me because I've gotten used to it over the years of online gaming but it does feel like the toxicity in the end game chat has gotten more and more rampent. Especially considering that someone actively hunted down my twitter just to harrass me.


note: I've already reported the guy for the harassment both in game, on steam and twitter but I dont see much coming out of it.
