    I don't think MMR decays over time. Not 100% sure on that, but it definitely doesn't feel like it does.

    Yeah, that's one of the points they've mentioned in their improvements section. There's currently no MMR decay.

    It doesn't, but they increase the soft cap over time as more people reach it, and players at your level will gradually increase their MMR the more they play, overtaking you.

    This likely has no effect if you're already at a very high MMR, because the top MMR bracket is pooled to facilitate reasonable queue times.

    There is absolutely no mmr decay. I haven't played the game in 6 months and I got the sweatiest survivors/killers I have ever gone against. Needless to say, the game is still in a sorry state and I would only play again if my friends want me to play with them (They're sick of the current state of the game as well).
