Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

I'll just copy/paste this from another post of mine that's a WIP here:

    Best possible build:

This is an updated version of last year's build, with this build being what is, in my opinion, the most consistent build. Not necessarily the strongest.

    perks

    • Corrupt Intervention

Fairly self-explanatory, a staple in most builds and forming half of the core of this build, Corrupt is a very, very good perk. It shrinks the map so you only must patrol 4 gens, which is good since you lack a mobility power, and forces survivors to group up, which is good because you can interrupt multiple at once. Unlockable from The Plague at level 30.

    • Deadlock

The new perk this time and replacing BBQ (sorry bloodpoints), Deadlock makes it's way into the build because of it's consistent value. You're guaranteed 4 procs of Deadlock, for a total of 2 minutes gen block time. It doesn't seem much, but it does so much more than you think. Not only does it give you information of where to go to prevent generators, but it prevents survivors from snowballing too hard at the start of the game as they can't pop 2 gens back to back in most circumstances (provided you play well). Unlockable from The Cenobite (Pinhead) at level 30.

    • I'm All Ears

No surprises here, huh? I'm All Ears is easily, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the best perk on Pyramid Head. The value you can get from it is absolutely insane, it allows for serious counter rotation plays without being mindgamed, consistent shots through walls, and means you can learn and adapt to survivor pathing so later in the game you can predict where they'll run and won't need the perk off cooldown. Unlockable from The Ghostface at level 30.

    • Pop Goes The Weasel

Another very good perk, and forming the other half of the core of the build, PGTW may seem like an odd choice due to his ability to cage survivors, but it synergises very well with Deadlock and as you'll see later you don't want to be caging that often. Outside of that, what can I really say, it's just a good regression perk to help the fact you don't have map mobility. Unlockable from The Clown at Level 40.

    add-ons

    • Burning Man Painting, Wax Doll, Black Strip

Is anyone surprised? His range add-ons are absolutely his best add-ons, not that the other ones are particularly useful, and they can allow you to do so much more with your power outside of animation lock that it's unreal. You can treat it like a short-range Hatchet at times with these add-ons equipped, they're absolutely insane.

    what other builds are there?

    perks

    • Hex: Ruin/Hex: Undying/I'm All Ears/Free Slot

It's Ruin/Undying, what more needs to be said?

    • Dead Man's Switch/I'm All Ears/Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance/Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage

Definitely not the best, nor the most consistent, and Scourge Hooks are not made for Pyramid Head, but when it works it can absolutely pop off. DMS/PR combo vibing for a lot of gen slowdown, while FOR allows you to get some pretty decent shots off. Nowhere near consistent, though, so I personally wouldn't use it.

    add-ons

    • Tablet of the Oppressor/Spearhead/Copper Ring

They make your ROJ last longer, but thanks to the way DBD maths is calculated it also recharges your power faster. They're the recharge add-ons, but better.

    • Iridescent Seal of Metatron

Definitely not the best add-on out there but definitely not the worst, it lets you see the aura of a survivor after you cage them from ~2 seconds and acts as a botched BBQ. I wouldn't use it and honestly it's not worthy of being Ultra Rare, but it's an option.

For the most part you do 2 gen related perks, 1 aura, and 1 chase

For example: Corrupt Intervention, Hex:Ruin, Nurse Calling Im all ears

Could always add like No way out, tinkerer, or bitter murmur

I like these. Ruin + Undying if you have a map offering with good totem spawns.

Corrupt deadlock if not. Monitor + Nurses to tunnel people straight out of the cages since that is PP heads main strength.

Addons I always do duration + range. Double range is nice but duration gives him a ton of extra zoning and makes wrapping around whole loops for torment a lot easier
