It can get worse, and will make the game Free 2 Pay rather than Free 2 Play.

Devs can get around this, here's how.
Every game the player has 10% chance of having cheats.
If everyone has cheats depending on RNG, then no one is cheating.

Every game the player has 10% chance of having cheats.
That is because you have to pay money for the game. Whenever the game had f2p weekends that "10% chance" would heavily increase.
Not only would the number of script kiddies increase beyond 10% to probably 45% or more, but those who got banned could just make a new account for free.
If everyone has cheats depending on RNG, then no one is cheating.
Except that majority of the dbd playerbase doesn't have cheats they play the game without them. If the population of script kiddies overthrows the regular playerbase. Than those who don't use cheats will just leave the game, and BHVR would just lose money since script kiddies have everything unlocked (Survivors/Killers and their outfits).
Edit: I would also hate to see this game turn into BO2 where every match is filled with script kiddies.
