Sloppy Butcher vs Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain:
With the new hemorrhage changes, which perk do you think is stronger overall?
Which killers might benefit from one over the other more?
Or, if you're a survivor main, which one is the hardest to counter or is most annoying?

sloppy, obviously. its beneficial in both hit and run scenarios and after hooking. gift of pain only applies on a specific hook. 9% penalty isnt anything thats noticable.
i see sloppy used far more than gift of pain. i probably havent seen gift of pain run since fall lol.
even if a killer doesnt use an M1 often or ever, plenty of killers have mangled and/or hemorrhage addons that will be far more worth using over poopy gift of pain.

Sloppy Butcher. It's literally 25% better than any other application of Hemorrhage.

gift of pain is only better if used on killers who don't down survivors with m1 very often
but at that point it doesn't matter if they stay injured or not really

Sloppy's inherently better unless you're using a killer who rarely M1s - Huntress or Blight, perhaps. Otherwise, it's just way more likely to be applied in any given situation.

Sloppy for sure. GoP is extremely underwhelming imo. For how unreliable Scourge Hooks are it needs to be a lot better. Sloppy is getting applied not just on downs and specific hooks, it's every single hit.
Honestly make that 9% slower gen progress on GoP hooks apply every single time until healed, not just the first hook. Now maybe we're getting closer.

Why does Sloppy have the easier condition AND have the stronger version of haemorrhage? shouldnt it be the other way around, or GoP having a stronger version than even Sloppy?

I tried to switch out Sloppy for Gift, but it's just not the same. I ran into problems where the amount of time I lost walking to Scourge Hooks, I could of spent pressuring gens and injuring survivors. If you can even make it to the Scourge Hook. They seem to have a habit of all spawning on one side of the map, that is just a massive dead zone not even the Gens hang out there.
I think the idea was Gift was supposed to be the Sloppy for M2 Killer's. Though I find myself running other things on my M2 Killers there isn't even room for Gift or Sloppy. Like Huntress I run BBQ, Murmur (bugged rn), Iron, and NWO.

On most killers sloppy is better because it applies on every basic attack and helps you with hit and run. Gift of pain only works on certain hooks, although it’s not as bad as it used to be because it can no longer be countered by 99ing your heal.
Fwiw, 9% reduced action speed adds about 10.9 seconds to a solo gen and 1.6 seconds to a heal. So it’s nothing big really.
