New Haddon field is way worse than the old one balance wise

While it does LOOK better, the loops in the houses are so ridiculous. It went from having one god loop in the centre house to having multiple god loops in most of them. The old version definitely had its problems but id happily take that version over how this is one is. Playing a 110 killer on it is just so unbearable. Maybe I'm doing it wrong but I don't see how theses buildings are in anyway viable if your the killer

I've only lost twice as survivor on it due to rage quitters but other wise we just loop the killer in the buildings and there doesn't seem to be much that they can do about it unless they're playing a specific killer

i'm not sure if I would say it's worse than old haddonfield. But I really hate the balance of let's make every tile strong to the point killers can't play around them and then leave the rest of the map empty.

Okay so most of my chases are happening when a survivor is out in the open or have just completed or about to start a gen. I normally get my hit in early and if they run to a house I chase them and try to understand which vault they would use. I enjoy aura reading and use many addons and or perks for it. It helps a lot but if you don't have that bring extra slowdown since you're a 110 killer or bamboozle to help vaulting.

I wouldn't say it's worse, but it's not much better either

It’s better than the old one, especially the middle of the map is a lot more open which helps the killer there. The building have good loops but they don’t seem to be infinite so at worst they’re a wash with the old version I think.

But the middle is completely empty! Just have survivors who don't go to any of the multiple god structures =)

Another "I lost one match in this map so it must be the map and not me" thread.

It has decently strong spots in the houses to use, and then the map is 90% a deadzone.

Do you want to increase the deadzone to a 100% instead? Would that make you feel better?

I feel like the map was designed to teach novice killers when to chase (huge open space in the centre) versus when to maybe not (several strong loops in the houses). However for me I think this makes the map a bit boring as there’s no nuance and no real mind game potential.

Street is deadzone. 90% of pallets are garbage. But yeah map is terrible than old version lol.

Maybe they'll fix the Gigantic dead-zone on this map. It's the biggest dead-zone of any map. Absolutely nothing in the center. It's just plain bad.

The Tree stage is awful too. There's nothing in the center of it either and honestly, not much around the sides either. It needs reworked.
