Darkness Among Us - Paid DLC?

I need confirmation about this. I really like The Legion but I'm wondering if its going to be part of a paid DLC. Although, it would be disappointing if it ended up being paid, like cmon devs this is chapter X and we got 4 paid killers in a row, how about some free content?

    I can't believe that you still want free content while it's already obtainable by playing the game. You have 3 months from the last DLC release to earn the iridescent shards and buy the characters as soon as the chapter is released. I have saved 23k shards for the new DLC. 

    Also, I have purchased the last two DLCs with shards. And this is going to be my third.

    I want to make clear that I'm not asking for nothing free. I'm just wondering and hoping for free content because I can't play DbD really often because you know, I have a real life to deal with.

    Right. My friend, if you can't cough up 7 Euro, maybe you should get a job instead of playing video games :)

    I'm 16 so I can't get a job yet, I wish I could tho.

    I'm aware but I find it very grinding and challenging at least for me. Although if it turns out to be paid, thats basically what I'm going to do.

    Why should anybody actually PAY to play that killer?

    If the Devs want to make some money, they should start making killer for killer-player instead of making killer to cater the needs of the survivor.

    I will pay but I will not PLAY the Killer, unless if they made some changes! All I wanted is their perks, cuz all of them were pretty decent!

    For those of us that do not feel like grinding to get a new killer. Plus we are not being forced to pay for any killer. It does not take that long to get 9000 shards.

    Will be most likely be paid, but wait until the dlc is in sale. Compared to other chapters Spirit was on sale really fast like 6 or 7 weeks after she came out. It used to be that the latest chapters never went on sale, but this seems to be a thing of the past from now. So who knows. Maybe you can already get the chapter cheaper ont he winter sale.

    Well , technically you can get it with in game currency so it's not paid dlc only.

    Begs the question, if you don’t have a job, how do you not have time to grind the shards?

    The developers spend money on the development of this content by paying the employees and such, they need to make money back to do so. Which they are already taking a large chunk of that out of their pocket by even offering the shards payment method.

    Also, 16 is the legal age to get a job for Americans. Forgive my ignorance on other parts of the world, but if you’re American, why not get a part time job or something?

    I currently have 5000 shards, I think it will take me 10-15 more levels to get to 9000. I don't know how many shards you receive per level though.

    I want to make clear again that I'm not demmanding nor asking for any free content I perfectly understand why they need the money and I'm okay with it.

    I'm not american and yes, I can have job. But it's better to finish your studies so you can have a decent job and not work in a McDonald's.

    Oh I know, but I don’t really see class or school taking up that much time you can’t put the effort into it. Just 10 matches a day should be good enough really to grind the shards for at least Leigon.

    DbD isn't the only game I like to play tho. But yes, I could grind that (don't remember saying that I couldn't). How many shards do you have?

    I understand but if you really want it, you’ll have to buckle down. I only have 1000 shards, it only took me 10 matches to get that. I’m just going to buy it with cells. It would probably take you less than 4 hours a day for a week or two to get all you need.

    I don’t have time to grind the shards in my case. I work full time and have collage classes to attend.
