Confirmed, Attack on Titan Crossover with DBD
that is all.

The concept work they showed us with the Oni is seriously impressive.
Am I not sad that they didn't decide to partner/source from other anime/mangas that are far more true to the horror genre? Yup :(

I love oni, but yeah

Look all I'm saying is we should have Guts as a Survivor.

Oh god no, really?
How is that supposed to look like? A human sized Eren or other titan as killer? And Mikasa in 3d maneuver gear just running around as survivor? That would just look so stupid 😭

Personally i think not making a Jojo crossover was a missed opportunity but honestly the concept art looks fantastic so i don't mind

This Oni skin looks very cool. I did think it was Trapper at first though 😅

I dunno anything about AoT but the designs look cool.

Yeah no, He'd rip out a door frame and start fighting the killer with it lol.
But seriously. There are so many AMAZING horror titles that they could've pulled from, and we know why the pulled AoT. Because it's popular and everyone collabs with AoT - but that doesn't get my giblets raring to go.

Me still hoping for a death note crossover just for a ryuk cosmetic

The Hange inspired skin looked so good.

Titans in aot are on average as tall as buildings (12-15meter), the biggest even 50 meters, not 2,5 meters or however big oni is.
I haven't seen the concept artwork but i know the source material and squishing a giant of 15 meter into Oni size is going to look like a joke, if they don't somehow do an miracle with the proportions.
And a soldier from the anime is using some fancy climbing gear to maneuver around those giants is going to look stupid running around on the ground, if they give them such an outfit and you feel more about the source material than DBD.
Edit: Also i think using trained soldiers that fight such giants on the regular make really ######### sources of despair and fear for the entity against the normal small killers, just thinking lore and source wise. But i guess that is not going to stop them from using some popular character like Mikasa as survivor, even when it is completely out of character.
Edit2: i have to correct something about titan sizes, as i just rechecked. There are with the exception of special titans later in the series, 5/7/15meter titans with the 15 meter being the most prominent and the giant titan with 60meters. Still downsizing them will end up looking bad in my mind.

IM SO HYPED.
I squealed so hard in class when I saw it.

Okay but it'd be cool tho
Besides, the Entity is perfectly capable of limiting the things in the fog

First sentence - Yes, it would definitely be cool. Berserk was both my introduction to manga and remains at the top of my list of recommendations because Guts is just that badass.
Second sentence - I feel like in a battle of wills Guts beats the entity and rips off the door-frame anyway. That's his character, that's what he does. He rejects his limitations at his own personal expense and kills gods.

I mean, yeah, that's fair.
But I like to dream. Griffith and Guts as the Killer and Survivor.
Plus, my first Manga can't work in DBD :(

I think it should be the golden age arc. Casca, Griffith, and Guts as survivors. Nosferatu Zodd Humanoid form as killer. Night of the Eclipse as the map. If we're gonna go all out. Go. All. Out.
What was the manga?

Dragon Ball Z, not even remotely horror.
But also, YES to everything you said.

Is it true that Dweet is getting the Eren cosmetic?

I haven't read berserk myself but just imagining seeing some of my favorite characters as survivor running around stupidly tbagging and the like would probably really get me to quit DBD for good in a flash. Especially if it was some badass character like guts which as you said would kick every killers ass and the devs would just twist the source material this hard.
Edit:Strangely enough this didn't bother me with the resident evil license. But maybe just because even as character Jill and Leon couldn't do much more than run away from nemesis and weren't what i would call badass 🤔

I don't know why I assumed your first manga was also a horror one - big expectation mistake on my side but I still feel like you let me down. I was hoping for something obscure that would be a tough implement like Cradle of Monsters or Uzumaki or something.

Nah I was (am) a huge DB nerd.
Love Beserk tho <3

I would prefer a titan to be a killer instead

You're making a bad assumption here. Guts is so epic his crouch button would be disabled. The man has never hid from anyone in his life - he has no need to crouch.
If someone presses the crouch button as Guts what actually happens is it turns off the crouch button for the other survivors. Leader inspiration.

🤣🤣 Yeah atleast this much would have to be expected.

The concept looks good but i can't imagine it really working with the dimensions looking good, going from a 15 meter tall titan to a 2,5meter oni.
I don't think they will ever really get the feel of the armored Titan right with this.
But that's just me complaining about staying true with source material while i never cared about the other licenses.
I am just often not a fan of pure fan service in that regard, using popular licenses.

Well cant do much else with titans than slapping their skin texture on an existing model. A 2.5m naked oni is better than getting no titan. I just hope they get the textures right for the clothes. Conveting an anime style into a 3d model that must also fit the original game must be a pain in the ass.
I just remembered the colossal titan pickle in monster hunter 😁

Well, I suppose this is as good a reason to uninstall as any.
That festering garbage has a habit of crossing over with far too many things it makes no sense to, and it's always terrible.
