The very summarized TL/DW of the dev stream.
Here is the very summarized list of what has been said during the dev stream.
- Code: 78SNOXXG
- RPD will be reworked (yay)
- Encouragment to play a role
- They will rework/review 40 perks (and addons?)
- Prestige will be changed: no more loss of perks and addons, "unlimited?" prestige, prestiged character's perks are automatically available to all other characters (of the same class)
- Mori finisher for the last survivor: no need to go hook him anymore. (I feel giving Hatch may drop a lot)
- Improved GUI experience, less need for navigation as information will be available more easily (e.g. on the front page).
- Outfits and perk sets can be stored and retrieved easily.
- Will be possible to do navigation in queue
- Rift double challenge at once : killer and survivor
- Bots to play against, for later though : maybe for winter?
- Streamer mode (anonymity, that kind of things)
- Code:GIGXLM3G
- New anime style for outfits (Attack on Titan)
- A new full chapter : killer, survivor, realm : the PTB is active right now!
- Masquerade event : custom mask for each character, random drop so you can get, say, a survivor one playing killer. Community challenges with rewards, still need to play yourself to get all benefits. Shop daily rotation. Lots of bloodpoints given.
- New game on steam : a DbD dating sim (It's not a joke, apparently there was a vote and this was the most voted one. )
I'm guessing someone will post the long version pretty soon but I'd rather try the PTB.

Addendum: they've said this was more or less the target for the coming year, not for some day in an hypothetical timeline.
As far as the stream went, it was kind of nice to see many of them starting a bit uneasy, like reading a prompter, then relaxing a bit and feeling more natural. I also loved the various levels of French accents some had (but only one as thick as mine xD.)

Really hope they don't double back on the bot promise. I know of at least two people who will play this game if bots are introduced.

Realistically, they may get it later than this current estimation but we have got enough glimpses about this to tell it's really coming.

I think it's about the part where they said about working on some player behaviors/tactics (I'm paraphrasing) but it wasn't too detailed.
I thought it was about camping, tunneling, gen-rushing ... pretty general.
They've spoken about other "little" things but without giving too many details, I didn't put them on my list.

My only question a out the custom matches with bots is will it be offline? Like will it be like how evil dead and f13 have theue content where if your on console it doesn't required xbox live or a PS subscription or be like predator hunting grounds where even playing the "offline" bot content requires you to have the online subscription

I think so. I don't know if they were valid only during the stream as I'm now in the PTB and I wasn't on the gaming machine when they went out.

Sadly we've heard all this before in regards to bots. I'm not holding my breath.

Ooh it will be interesting to see how they tackle it. Maybe a nerfed version of ds and bt base kit for survivors or hook time goes faster if killer isnt nearby but slower when they are etc. Spice things up a little bit <3

I mean we know they are working on bots because hackers are basically using those for their bots. I would like it if they removed those altogether from game files so hackers cant do that but meh. We asked for bots and monkeys paw said sure

Lol, except for Cote trying to talk about the dating sim in that Hawaiian shirt. 😄 He looked like a dad uncomfortably trying to tell his kid about the birds and the bees for the first time. He’s doing it because he’s a good parent but definitely feels kind of awkward going into details about it.
