Automatic Prestige
With the upcoming prestige rework, it was announced we will be getting automatic prestige levels but we would also get rewards for each prestige level acquired before the update, will this mean any automatic prestige I earn will also earn me the rewards for each prestige level?

Imagine seeing a facecamping Bubba with a prestige level in the thousands. Dominance asserted.

I made an account entirely just to have this question answered, doesn't seem like anybody else is asking it.
Even better if the rewards turn out to be some kind of new legacy and it's now a facecamping legacy Bubba.

That's a real shame. I don't wish for others to panic and rush prestiging characters to gain the prestige rewards when they roll out.

They said on the stream there wasnt any cap on the prestige level to show dedication towards a character, about rewards I think they didnt say anything about extra rewards pass P3.

Yeah, P3 will get you all the rewards for that character when it rolls out and there won't be a cap to prestige in the future. I just wonder if those who haven't prestiged will also get these rewards.

I haven't prestiged any of my characters because I could care less for cosmetics and I've unlocked almost all teachables for both killers and survivors. My concern is I'll lose all those teachables. I'm hoping they just make my level 40+ characters prestige 3, otherwise I'll be forced to go back and do a crap ton of work... It will just make me feel like what's the point of playing having to grind all over again for the perks I already use on my favorite survivors and killers.

We've gotten confirmation now. People who do not currently have the characters P3 before the prestige catchup system is implemented will not be eligible for the rewards.

Ridiculous, why even bother to compensate those who haven't prestiged in the first place but then take away their eligibility for the rewards? That's a shame.

I suppose it will be some sort of legacy cosmetic like the ones they gave away when they reworked the grind at the begining of the game.
