A suggestion that would change and help with many problems at the SAME TIME

Basicly a pain resonance as base line.
If you hook a survivor on ANY hook, the furthest gen will lose 20% of its CURRENT progress. Similar like boil over, a gen that is further will lose more % and a gen that is lower will lose way less. Keep in mind that the regression will not count as an explosion, so perks like dead mans switch will NOT trigger, that would obviously be too strong in combination with that perk.
Lemme list here the benefits of this suggestion before you will write an angry comment:
- -Killers will get rewarded for going for hooks instead of camping to make survivors reach struggle
- -Hook trading is getting punished so survivors are induced to not farm or trade less and learn to unhook smarter
- -Killers who had a rough start can get a comeback easier without beeing forced to play in a very unfun way for survivors naming slugging, camping and tunneling
- -Hooking will feel much more rewarding in general which will help Killer players in a more "emotional way". Its common knowledge that Killer gameplay is overall way much more stressful with little breathing room and knowing that each time you finished a chase and hook a survivor you will get a little buffer and that can be shoothing to have this in mind.
Is that the perfect fix for the game? No
But atleast it helps and it isnt really rocket science to put this into the game.
