Kill Switch update: The issue affecting Baermar Uraz's Ugly Sweater has been fixed and the cosmetic has been reenabled in all queues with this update.

Can we just show survivors as default in lobby?

I think it's pretty obvious by now that when a player dodges a lobby it will replace them with literally anyone ASAP. And the person that's replaced usually doesn't seem to belong there.

Match 1:

Killer dodges, this is the new killer we get:

Correct, that is a pig with tier 1 oppression and nothing else. She searched too long for me while I was being stealthy and the other 3 all popped 3 separate gens. She went AFK in a corner.

Match 2:

Original killer dodges:

At least this one had perks. Was able to activate blood fury once, after that was unable to get a hit on anyone.

If you're wondering what any of this has to do with cosmetics it is pretty obvious that a lot of killers make weird assumptions about the skill level or playstyle of some skins, and decide to hand the match they were given to some noob with tier 1 monstrous shrine or something. Because there was a Nea with pink hair or something equally terrifying.

Any of you remember the good old days when a killer dodging kicked you out of the queue altogether and separated your swf (if applicable)? I just pretty much wore default all the time so I could actually get games.

ANyway tl;dr you can't really stop killers dodging matching names, multiple of the same survivor, high amounts of hours in in steam profiles but there is really no need to show the killer the specific fashion choices of their prey before game. New killers have a rough enough time as it is without being thrown to the wolves.

I wouldn’t care if everyone wore default but that’s not gonna happen tbh

I think most of the cosmetic dodges are when survivors purposely wear the exact same outfit, or outfits that are similar enough that the killer can't easily tell the survivors apart. Making everyone show as default in the lobby would just make those killers more likely to dodge teams where more than 1 player is using the same survivor, because the killer would have no way of knowing if those survivors were purposely using the same outfits to be confusing.

Be me and load into a lobby.

There's an Xbox player. I check their profile.

    400 days of playtime.

If they fixed MMR, this wouldn't be a problem.

But they are too incompetent to do that.
