Goodbye Freddy, Demo
Dredge has a far superior teleporting ability, along with a passive ability and add-ons that help it be even stronger. No preset up needed, it’s essentially map wide, survivors can’t deny it (they can barely slow it down). Aside from achievements, dailies, and nostalgia, there’s basically going to be no reason to play Freddy or Demo anymore. Sad.
There’s just a select few generators on certain maps without at least one locker very nearby, where Freddy or Demo would have the upper hand. But 90% of the time.. no reason to not choose Dredge for map mobility. Freddy and Demo do also have powers to help in chase, but even those are circumstantial (especially Freddy, requiring survivors to be asleep).

What? Dredge will probably get nerfed by the time he leaves PTB just like so many others. Demo's portals are as good as this locker teleport provided you're not trying to use them like Hag traps. Demo is a hell of a lot better than Freddy, as he can close gaps and end chases much more efficiently, there's nothing circumstantial about that considering he was designed for such. Nightfall? Let me know when they actually apply total darkness and stealth because I can get the drop on people with Demo a lot quieter than what I'm currently seeing.

The fact that survivor mains aren't up in arms about PTB Dredge is a good sign that Dredge won't get nerfed.

Too early to tell. Freddy and Demo still have their chase powers, Demo has freedom of where to place portals and Freddy pressures gens much better and can mindgame with Dream Projection sometimes.
However, Dredge does curb-stomp Sadako.

Demo is better. Demo has solid anti-loop power. And his portals are good second objective for survivors. And Demo is teleporting faster.
I liked new killer but Demo is better than him.

Dredge is getting buffed post PTB. Not nerfed. And the other killer powers are better teleports sans Night Time Spooky Thing.

Dredge secondary power that make unsafe pallets even more unsafe is gonna get nerfed.
Its to ridiculous if let alone no pallet would be safe.
Either that power gets a long cd or it will be PH treatment where he cant m1 after for like 1-2seconds.

Almost every killer gets buffed from PTB, and they've already stated that Nightfall isn't working as intended and should be stronger.

I really hope that Sadako gets a Condemnation buff/minor rework so that she's not just "weaker dredge" forever.

Good survivors won’t even bother closing Demo portals most of the time. There’s typically no reason to, especially if you repair the generator it’s near. You’ve now denied him an opportunity to open a new portal.
And the other important factor I forgot to mention: Dredge is an original killer, so can be bought with shards. And Demo ain’t even available anymore of course.

Demo's main focus isn't his portals and Freddy was already dead. When's the last time you versed a Freddy? Or played as Freddy for any other reason than 'the daily told me to do it'?
It's mostly Freddy and Sadako that are crying in a corner right now. Demodoggo's fine - and the ability to put portals wherever he wants them, in addition to the killer instinct that serves as a warning system, does give him utility that Dredge doesn't have.

Dredge just seems like a better Sadako.
Good map presence but completely unthreatening in chase.

Tbh after seeing Dredge in action, one of my first thoughts was "poor Sadako"
I really hope they change her somehow because the good thing about killers is their diversity in powers and that's why I like swapping between them. Other then the animations, with dredge she seems like her identity has been lost.
The condemnation (among other things) and interaction with TVs/Tapes should be re-checked since it's what makes her different, and the core of the films/novels.

Considering Nightfall has already been acknowledged as very bugged, I can't imagine they'll do much to Dredge until they can fix it and figure out it's true strength in a trial. (Also who's the last killer YOU actually remember getting nerfed between ptb and going live, cuz I can't remember).

IMO both Freddy and demo are both better than Dredge. Freddy can instantly TP back into 3 gens + has a good chase power, Demo has a really good chase power and is also good at defending 3 gens. I would still rather play Freddy over Dredge if we don't take fun into account (in which case I would play Dredge cos he is waaaaaaaaay more fun).
Sadako however, yikes. They release her and then they release a killer 20x better than her next chapter.

I am actually surprised. Especially with Dowsey claiming she is 10x better than Sadako who he placed at A tier for whatever warped reason. Hypothetically this should make her above Nurse with the Artist. I am surprised survivors aren't up in arms about this travesty.

Whenever survivors say that a killer is fine and doesn´t need any buffs/nerfs. Then something is up. Has been like this in the past, when people claimed that Clown is fine or Legion (before the buff).

I mean I'll still play demo. I like dredge's teleportation more, but I like demo's anti-loop more.
