Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

BHVR, Can we get a Rift Compendium in DBD?

Something I've been wondering for a long time is why DBD doesn't have a Rift Compendium like there is with the Tomes. I've been playing since around the time of the first rift but never bought into the premium side of the rifts until Rift 9. If the older Rifts would be available for purchase with all the rewards exactly as they were, I would throw 1000 cells towards each one of them I'd buy. It's a good way of making money for BHVR, so why isn't it being offered?

If such a thing is ever implemented, I'd suggest doing it so that if a player reached level 70 on the free side of a specific Rift back when that Rift was out/new and they buy into that Rift in the Rift compendium, that player would instantly obtain all the premium rewards for having already finished the Rift in the past much like is the case if someone completes the current rift and decides to buy the premium side.

I really like the Blood Moon charm in the premium side of Rift 7 and a lot of the outfits I missed out on before I started buying into the rifts and I'm sure many other older players like me and many of the new(er) players would like a chance to get them too.

If something like this can't be done, then I'd say at least implement a place in the shop that offers all those rewards with an option to get each with iridescent shards, but I'd be much more keen to spend money & put time into it if they're offered in Rift form. Rift fragments can even be added back towards compendium Tomes so that doing the challenges in those tomes could give fragments that would progress the players in the compendium rifts. Or have a new class of rift fragments called Compendium Rift Fragments that would be rewarded to players who didn't get rift rewards of the various tomes, which the game could/would detect and reward them retroactively.

I think this would be a great way to reward players who put time into the game and go back to complete old challenges and would be great incentive to get a lot more hours put into DBD.

They already slowly release old rift cosmetics in the store periodically, so I highly doubt they would ever bring back the old rift tracks. It would be nice if they would bring back old charms, but it seems like most of the community hates the charms, so they probably don't see it worth there time. (I like charms as well.)

I really love the mini figure charms and I so badly wish I’d been around to get the mini Yui

Ikr, I love the mini figures as well. I'm just glad I have the Bill figure charm. I'm a bill main, so even when I play other characters for challenges/need certain items I can still wear Bill.

Doubt they will but they should as I'd buy previous rift tracks as well.

I'd buy them as well, since I didn't know about DBD's existence when the 1st 2 rifts were taking place. I got the game like 3-4 weeks before the end of the rift 3, and I grinded so hard (the grind was harder than now back then!), and got from tier 1 to 70 in those few weeks. I was that dedicated. I would have done the same for the 1st 2 rifts if I knew about the game and had it back then.

If they'd add the level 70 charms like the Blood Moon to the store along with the survivor mini figures and any other cool charms (like Neacrow which I have but I'm sure others who don't would like to get), I guess I'd be happy with that so long as we could get them with both iridescent shards and cells and that they would be priced cheaper than cosmetics for the most part given how there are fewer cosmetics than charms and how it was always easier to get the charms in the rift than cosmetics; excluding Level 70 charms of course). I don't think they have yet added that Bill outfit I got on the free side of Rift 7 to the shop after someone in a match lobby I was in asked me where I got it & how they didn't see it in the shop. Maybe the cosmetics are like 5 rifts behind or something? I'm not sure. This is the one I was referring to:

I still say the smartest thing they can do is re-release the entire rifts considering how much money they'd be able to make along with getting players to grind it out & play DBD & re-add rift fragments (maybe special ones they could name Compendium or Legacy Rift Fragments) to old tomes & have them retroactively be awarded to players whose accounts are detected not to have unlocked those rewards & levels in the past but who already completed challenges from the old Tomes or will in the future.

It would be a nice thing for the 6th or 7th anniversary. I'd say 7th in case they're too busy now and need a year to implement such a thing.
