Anyone else getting this crash?
I put in a ticket for support already, but I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue or if it was just me. Whenever I play killer, sometimes (not always) the game will just freeze mid-hooking animation. And it'll stay frozen for a few seconds then go back to normal.
But sometimes, the survivors will unhook and then the game will completely implode and just freeze. I still hear the audio that was happening the moment before. (So, I hear Doctor's breathing or a survivor's whimpering on repeat.) but then eventually the UI goes away and it stays like that for a bit. If I stay there, eventually it goes to the endgame screen and says I was disconnected from the host. At first I thought it was my internet, but it's happened consistently the last few days and my penalties have gotten longer because of it. (I went through a killer main phase last year and nothing like this happened.) I still keep the bloodpoints from the game and I still retain the progress I made in my tomes...but it still counts as a DC and I get penalized. Just wondering if anyone else has had this particular crash happen to them? I'm not Xbox btw.
