Why did the Cosmetic Contest end early?

I was gonna send in my cosmetic entry for the contest earlier today and the entry was closed over 12 hours before the the time BHVR said the contest would end, Other people aswell were ######### out of luck because of the cut off time what makes it worse is knowing BHVR all we are gonna probably get is a 100k BP code :/

It Sucks working hard on skins just for you not to be able to send them in because they ended it earlier than they said they would-
