Question: Anyone else having issues with directional sound this patch?

Been playing alot of killer games lately, tried playing a few matches as Spirit and struggled really bad, aside from alot of obvious mistakes and poor setups, I noticed that I really struggled with the directional audio while phasing. I often found that I either couldn't tell how far away a survivor was, becoming extremely disoriented if they changed directions, couldn't tell if they were ahead or behind me, and sometimes I just flatout couldn't hear certain sounds (though that last one depended on the map.)

At first I suspected my headset (Corsair Void Elite) was to blame, but I honestly can't tell if there's any kind of audio degradation, I haven't had any major issues with it in the past, least none that I can recall. I've tried changing device/audio settings, in-game settings (Messed with the volume, tried the "Headphones" setting) and I honestly can't tell if there's any major improvement.

So has anyone else noticed any audio issues as of late, or is this a sign for me to start looking for a replacement headset?

There have definitely been some strange things goin on with audio, but it seems very inconsistant. Some matches are fine, some get super wonky. Sometimes audio gets kinda muddy, footsteps sound like theyre on one side of me even though im lookin at the surv on the other side, ita sound like theyre clise when theyre not, ive even had a few issues where surv grunts of pain somehow get "attached?" to pallets or the enviroment. I even had a Meg the other day that made Dwight sounds when i smacked her. I dunno whats happenin but theres some weird stuff goin on since the last patch.

I played three matches today and noticed the same issued with the sound. Like I can hear survivor's groans of pain on the left but they themselves are on the right. When you get very close you can hear them just fine. The same goes to the generators. Like sound directions are wrong and I cannot figure out what generator is being repaired.
