I hope they make the right Dead Hard rework
After seeing the 6 year anniversary, I'm excited about this massive meta perk changes (for both sides).
Tired of having to run corrupt intervention in every killer. Tired of a perk that is basically "press E to reset the chase for free".
I think dead hard is what made this game feel the same in the past few years. Extending the chases for free is not something good: games are faster so everyone gets less bloodpoints, killers get burned out and quit the game (then unable to find lobbies as survivor for 30 minutes in evening Europe).
I miss long games in both sides...

I hate high MMR at the Moment. Every Survivor runs Deadhard with some other second chance Perks.
And every Killer runs Slowdown or Endgame Perks like Noed and No Way Out.
I personally love not running any of that but i feel forced by the Game to do so as i keep ending up in higher MMR time and time again.
I do however think by taking away a lot of the second chance Perks, chases will be over faster and thus Gen Speeds won't be as fast (hopefully) so they can nerf Gen Slowdown Perks aswell.
Both just take away the Progress of the other and it feels demoralising to play against those Perks.
Maybe just outright taking the most used Perks from both sides and then Deadswitching them all for some time will bring in some variety again.

I feel like "high MMR" is quite a myth.
Cameback to the game a week ago. Purchased Artist and look my first game:
I thought the MMR was depending on the killer. Did they change that?

If you reach the highest MMR Level on One Killer, it automatically puts you MMR on every other Killer higher.

Not true. I am not seeing my mmr level but i am on very high mmr as Nemesis and Nurse. But i am facing with baby survivors with Plague, Slinger etc cuz i am not playing them except daily missions.

DH certainly needs a nerf. Boons in general should be changed to token perks, one token per boon perk equipped. Each token allows you to boon one totem, so once your tokens are gone, no more boons. The weaker boon perks (aka not COH) could get buffed to balance this.
The issue with nerfing BT, DS, and IW is that those perks are simply the only way to alter a significant aspect of the game. I would rather see the game changed to make these perks less necessary than for the perks themselves to receive nerfs.
Killer-wise, I personally dislike NOED. The speed buff seems unnecessary. I get that they need a scaling value, so why not smaller terror radius instead? Most of the other killer perks seem fine to me.
Mostly, I think they should rework some of the clearly bad perks (sole survivor, monstrous shrine) to make them more interesting/playable.

Weird.
I immediately got a full SWF with full Meta Perks when i played Twins for a Challenge.
Had to play them numerous times to get it as i was faced with many "high mmr" Survivors.
(With "high mmr" i mean full Meta Builds, halfway decend at looping and efficient on Gens)

I think mmr is working when game has enough players to match. Other times, you are facing someone are not same level with you. Because game did not find anyone on your level.

Makes absolute sense.
At the Evening/Night is usually when i have the most "high mmr" players wich is the time i guess the most People play this Game.

Yeah, right.
DELETE.

I feel like if they changed Dead Hard to do something else and put the current Dead Hard ability into the No Mither perk then it would be fine since the drawbacks of No Mither would balance it out while also giving No Mither more value in general.

Haha, No Mither Dead Hard would be funny.

if that true then what the point in not be able to switch killers in lobby?

yeah dead hard in its current form, basically gives the survivors a third health state on top of the distance. With other exhaustion perks, its meant to and does work only as a way to help you extend or delay chases and open up plays. with dead hard it lets you do that due to the insane distance but it also messes with natural game flow, in which the killers would win chases but then you need to hit them again. because the second hit you need to down them is actually taken up by dead hard instead.
i think even even if they go with something simple, like removing the absurd distance of the animation and call it a day I think most people will still be happy.

I know you don't want them nerfed but at the moment there's issues with two of them that need changed.
IW is easy make the max a 90% instead of 100% so it's not a total counter to a certain nurse perk, also moans of pain are how most Killers track and how Spirit can discern where they are. So it should never of been a 100% silence to moans of pain.
BT just make the Survivors who have it either thier hit box vanish so they can't Body Block for other survivors for the duration of the hit or make it vanish if they do a body block. Just it a similar treatment to DS, if your body blocking for a fellow survivor your not trying to get away from the Killer or the Killer is not trying to tunnel you. I have had times where I'm trying to get away and the Killer is chasing the one who unhooked me and the one who did the unhooking ran past me forcing a protection hit and that's not cool imo.
DS is in a good place ATM and any Killer that complains about it won't try to learn the minor clues that survivors have it....if a survivor that gets unhooked gets downed by you before they are healed and DONT try crawling away and just sit there 99% of the time they have DS and want you to pick them up.
As for Monstrous Shrine I don't know how they could buff it without it being totally abused by Killers. Maybe buff the stats a little but other than that I don't know.
