If you are smart you extend the Bloodhunt Event

Extend it until you release the Prestige Rework or at least till the Anniversary Event.
The grind is absurd and lots of people only started playing again because of the 2x BP event.
You'd give your players a reason to keep playing and max out all the characters before the Prestige Rework to get those sweet secret rewards.

Oh god please no I'm so sick and tired of everyone sweating out of their assess like their lives depend on hardcore tunneling a single survivor/hardcore making out with Generators as fast as possible

I believe they only do these when they feel competition. When Evil Dead The Game was new, F13 did x2 XP, and other ASYMS.

The prestige rework isn't for another 2 months *at least.* And the anniversary is still another two WEEKS off.
Besides, the community event starts as soon as the blood hunt ends.

Jesus ######### Christ anything but that. Maybe some sociopathic Killer mains will take a break now that they can't deny more BP to survivors and you can have more than one fun SoloQ game in two hours.

Literally this. The end of the bloodhunt can't come soon enough imo. I'd honestly prefer if, instead of bloodhunts, we just got login BP. Killers would tunnel slightly less, survivors would genrush slightly less. It'd be nice.

Like that doesn't happen even when the event isnt on.
At least now if I die on first hook, i get the double of crappy BP.

pfft those are dumb players, I been playing nice all week to maximize all emblems. 120k+ matches are sweet, we can resume the uv vs them after hunt hahaha

Quite literally every game for me as survivor bar maybe one has been killer runs meta build, tunnels out the first survivor hooked, and then tunnels the rest of their way to a 4k.

I will also stop messing with the Bloodhunt ending. I can't play for hours and hours like teenagers. That's too long and tedious to progress nicely in the Bloodweb without BP x2 bonus.
My ship is waiting for me on Sea of Thieves.

well I played 100+ prior anniversary cakes this past week and ,lets just say I had at least 50+ where they all got out and I still got 125k+ If any surv played a cake I didnt 3 hook anyone. Still have like 300 cakes

As a player who left when the whole NFT thing happened, the bloodhunt and the prestige thing had me playing over the long weekend. Not convinced I'm coming back yet, but I got Billy, Myers, Bubba, Plague (previously P1 50), and Trickster (previously 50) to P3 1 utilizing my stockpile of cakes on a few killers and playing for points over kills. The combination did work on me at least temporarily (though to be fair the only reason I'm coming back at all is it looks like BHVR learned from their mistake with the inciting incident)...probably burned over 50 cakes across Myers, Billy, and Doctor, Doc still has just under 20 to go or he'd've been next on the list to get to P3 1...

oh don't worry I play tons of surv too and I got camped out numerous times so I know what you mean, I just refuse to play like that during bloodhunt especially. I also let numerous broken no mither tomers go this week and got tons of thanks.

The anniversary event starts in a week which will bring blood point offerings in the form of cakes. You'll get a ton of bloodpoints during this and the event will last a longer period so use the time well!
Last year when everyone ran cakes or blood party streamers with bbq or were gonna live forever you'd end a good match with over 200k as survivor or killer. Get ready for the grind to go from slow as cold maple syrup to slightly warm butter.

The new chapter is the 7th. The event isn't until the 16th. They never start the anniversary event on the same day as the new chapter. They don't want event things disrupting people learning the new Killer.

I agree. I played EXACTLY 7 games today for the survey. I played 4 killer games and 3 survivor ones. I stopped playing after these matches cause the normal BP gain is just SO miserable. The best match on survivor I had a lil bit over 20k bloodpoints. Its NOTHING. I can take like 4-5 nodes in one bloodweb with that amount of points. Its just not worth wasting my time on.

I just had a 47k Survivor game. My Survivor games are usually 30-50k.

While I generally agree a long blood hunt would probably be less sweaty overall. Typically blood hunts are only ever 2 or 3 days so people desperately try to get every bit of value they can. With a long hunt I think people would be more relaxed.

Every character is maxed. And I've already spent like 2-3m on just spirit alone after that.
They can end it so I can go play another game 🤣
