Yeah, the recoil and the way he throws knives makes it harder to play on console from my experience of playing him on both Xbox and PC. However I wouldn't say he is too strong on PC, I would just say he plays as intended on PC and on console he falls short because the controls do not transfer as well on controller, sadly. That tends to happen for precision based killers on console but it is even more noticeable for Trickster because he needs to throw more projectiles to injure and down a person.

That'd just make him kinda braindead to play I think, a consistent and practicable recoil pattern would work better me thinks.

I agree with this. His recoil itself isn't necessarily the problem, it is the fact that the recoil is random. If it had more of a pattern, it'd be easier to learn how to control.

This is the most crushing part of playing him, the recoil being so very unpredictable, making it impossible to group your shots and hard af to stay on target.
Everything @Bloodshade has posted all over the forum about the drawbacks and limitations of using a controller to play this game as a killer are imo ten times worse when trying to control Trickster.
