DH Rewards Failure

By the same logic you've posited about Bloodlust, then survivors also get a free reward for failure in the speed burst they get when they get hit, so it balances out.

So, if I mind game a survivor and they use Dead Hard to avoid the hit and backtrack to the window I successfully mindgamed them into taking and would have been down on the ground if not for the Dead Hard that's not rewarding failure?

That doesn’t make sense babydoll

Wow you really got me there dude... Lmao

Lmao pallets are the free second chance? If pallets didn't exist not a single survivor would escape and why aren't survivors supposed to greed pallets, because you don't want them to? Lol.
When I equip dead hard it's to boost away from a killer that is using bloodlust and Is inherently faster than me therefore nothing to do with "failure" but me knowing that killers catch up with me, lol.

I'll use a simple example you vs a trapper and he has forced you into a spot were you can only go 1 way and there is a trap blocking the door, so not only did he out play you with mind games they also forced you to a spot were due to your failure to escape the killer will lend you in a bear trap but wait for it you just hit E to go over the bear trap making up for all the mistakes you made during that chase. Hence it rewarding failure you failed at every chance to get away from the killer so you had to use dead hard to make up for your failures to get across the bear trap.

Rewards the killer for not pressuring gens or hooking and killing survivors before gens are complete, yes

And the fact killers have to play the match with only 2-3 perks for the chance NOED to proc, so for the whole match depending on build a killer is using 2 perks vs 16 for the chance one will proc at the end, What if they changed DH to only work after last gen is done would survivors be happy to run 3 perks the whole match with the chance to use DH at the end.
A lot of times killers will kill everyone before the last gen popped so NOED didn't even come into play, some builds NOED helps a lot i.e endgame builds NOED + blood warden so the killer played the whole match with 2 if not less perks because the way they have there perks set up is for endgame not start or middle.

Sometimes DH is needed to counter certain plays- like a basement trapper- Iv been in many plays where Iv needed to dead hard over traps. It’s a fun perk, it’s still hit and miss tho so it’s a gamble if it even works.

The same can be said about NOED. Both DH and NOED reward bad plays.

Yes it is inevitable to 1v1 a killer. Because the game is a 4v1. You're stuck in the 1v1 mindset. If you're able to 1v1 a killer in a 4v1 killer then that's a problem.

for whoever question how much strong this perk is: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/260885/dead-hard-must-be-reworked/p1

You bought up a topic about DH that wasn't just it needs a nerf, its OP etc but one that people on both sides can point out the pros and cons to the argument while trying not to make it a us vs them, it is one off the better DH post that has been posted in a while.

Not everyone is terminally online and memorises or looks at every post, it's inevitable given the wide variety of views on this forum that some will assume you're being serious.
