anyone else saving their shards for dredge?
been saving up my shards just so i can purchase the dredge as soon as he releases since he looks like such a unique killer and overall looks fun to play. I play on playstation but for the people who have tried them out on the ptb how does he play? is he a fun killer to run with?

I haven't played in months, and I'm really hoping kitting out the Dredge renews my interest in dbd. 15k shards and 1.8mil bp so I'm ready. Looking forward to the new map and event (cake!!) as well.

I have some cells leftover from buying some cosmetics so I'll just use those. The shards I'm saving I will use during the anniversary event.

I have 76k of them so don't really need to. The game is really generous when it comes to shards. Well, when it comes to BPs as well I guess but the bloodweb grind is basically infinite unlike the shrine/cosmetics one.

I've looked through them and for whatever reason, none of them really pique my interest (the few that would like Oni Minotaur for some reason can't be bought with Shards even though they're an original character).
I might some day just start buying a few for fun that I kind of like but so far at least, none have gotten a "I have to have that" reaction from me
I've been playing for over two years at this point so they have just kept piling up :D

How on earth does anybody save that much? The first time since playing this game I got my shards above 10k and it's all ready gone for bloodpoints ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ guess Im not as dedicated as others are. Someone slap me please 😅

I'm a completionist and have gotten every dlc but I've started playing more survivor in the last year because of friends. since Haddie's perks are such trash, I'm definitely not going to foul up my bloodweb with her junk perks.
Plus part of it's just principle. The developers need to understand that survivors purchase these DLCs for the survivor perks. If the perks are trash, you won't be selling those dlcs to 4/5s of your player base. They need to up their game.

I don't understand it either. I have 9k hours into the game and I've never saved more than 50k shards because I always spend them on cosmetics which are expensive. I suggest not using shards for bloodpoints though.. unless you're on the PTB. It's a waste. Use them for characters or cosmetics. Or maybe perks on the shrine if you're really cheap and impatient
