I dislike Mount Ormond Resort
Aside from the horrendous Rotten Fields and Shetler Woods, I can NOT stand Mount Ormond.
Do people actually like playing on it? It's an eyesore and I want to leave regardless of the role I'm playing. I'd rather play on RPD 10 times in a row than be in Mt. Ormond. Every experience on that map gets worse and worse.

Don't mind Ormond, has a good balance of open areas and safer areas.
Much better than Trump fields.

The rework didn't exactly improve gameplay if I'm being honest it made the main building slightly less bad it removed some god pallets from it but that's it

Yeah, I hate it too.
Aesthetically I think it's great, but it's way too big and has way too many pallets all on top of having an extremely safe main building.

Letting people choose maps was a bad idea. There are already the same maps over and over without messing with map generating rng like this. The less maps we get the worse it gets

I miss the old ormond graphics. There used to be dark fog around you, it was a scary atmosphere. Now it’s just a normal snow landscape and the storm isn’t doing much.

ormond is a gorgeous looking map while not being a chore to play on (the exact opposite of rpd) i don't mind it at all

It’s my favorite map, mainly because it’s easy on my old eyes. I hope we get another snow map.

Ormond I think won it's vote because the competition it had was bad. I know I picked it but I remember thinking the other options were just awful and I do like it aesthetically. While it is pretty iffy in design, it's not the worst, it's around average, which is still pretty bad. There are still some small chances for some killers unlike many other maps.
I don't remember for certain but someone can show the other options Ormond was competing with?

I actually enjoy playing on Ormont every once in a while. Mostly because it looks different from all the other maps and that adds some variety.

After the rework I think it's slightly more difficult, but a winnable map as Killer. I'd rather have it than Mother's Dwelling, or Badham

It's a little big and open, which can be tough on a lot of killers. But otherwise I kind of like the map. Since the visual rework, some of it's pallet loops are actually fairly mindgameable.

I'm a killer main and Ormond is one of my favourites to play on.
When I do play as survivor, I find it balanced if you know where to seek refuge. It is way better than any indoor map, not to mention how infuriating it can be to play RPD.

Ormond is my favorite looking map aesthetically. However, not every killer has the potential to deal with how large the map is. Even when playing survivor, it feels like you have to run for a while to find a generator or other survivors. I don't mind playing on it once in a while when it appears.

It could do with being a bit darker and the snow being heavier but game play wise it's a pretty fair map for both sides

Ormond is an incredibly weird map for me now. Up until a few weeks ago I would have called it one of my least favorite maps. I'm not totally sure what happened, but I've recently found myself liking the map a lot. My guess is that I've started realizing that there are maps that I hate so much more that I actually kinda like Ormond.
Like I hate Gas Heaven, Groaning Storehouse, Blood Lodge, Azarov's, Torment Creek, Fractured Cowshed, Eyrie of Crows and Crotus Prenn so much that Ormond actually feels like a Godsend after going to any of those.

Sorry to necro, but I absolutely hate Ormand. I hate loading in with lethal and seeing all 4 survivors on different gens knowing there's zero chance of being able to play fair and win against any half decent team. So many safe pallets, so many good loops, main building is nuts, kill shack is always connected to a very strong loop with a ton of filler pallets. It's a miserable map.

I really like it. The loops aren't amazing so it makes up for the big size.

I don't mind it I like the looks I think it's a relatively fair map and as a Legion main it gets bonus points from me.
Funny thing tho a streamer I follow has talked about the map lately and that the most cheaters he faced are on that map and that is something I see as well every single cheater I ever faced where on that map
